The Matrix

Fishburne, Reeves, and Moss take the idea of scifi animations to an all new level.

The Matrix is a visually stunning sci-fi film that has real-time special effects and an extremely entertaining story line. The Matrix comes packed with well-thoughtout fight scenes, and actors good enough in acrobatics to make them shine. Fishburne, Reeves, and Moss take the idea of scifi animations to an all new level. The plot is well designed, however some events remain questionable and unanswered. Here's the basic information on the story. A man named Neo, (played by Keanu Reeves) is a computer genius whose life takes a U-Turn from normal, to just plain strange. He is brought into the bizarre world that Trinity (Moss) and Morpheus (Fishburne) is already accustomed to. He is soon forced into a type of day dream and has to sort out his problems in an unbelieveable virtual world. Keanu and his buddies seem to handle themselves well and keep in touch with reality in one of the two virtual worlds but find themselves being chased by computer-generated agents with one objective in the other. What is this objective? Keeping the secret of the Matrix from being revealed in the other world. Sure this all sounds nice and confusing, but if you see the movie, it will all fall into place. The three actors did a great job at playing their roles, and the movie leaves you wondering about the truth in this oversized place we call the universe. The movie Blade is the only other movie that has even come close to matching the scifiness of this scifi movie.
