The Brothers

"Morris Chestnut, D.L. Hughley, Bill Bellamy, Shemar Moore"

The brothers in "The Brothers", play as young men who are constantly caught up in romantic commitments and relationships. While telling their story, the movie shows a promising story of its own. This story is a story of love, friendship, and humor. The Brothers is a movie about four young men who live in Los Angeles. Being the close friends that they are, they share stories of their relationships and pasttimes. After Derick (played by D.L.) gets married, and Terry (played by Moore) eventually ties the knot, the other two guys begin "woman hunting." After many relationships and standard-setting decisions, will they find the right women? During different parts of the movie, men and women may show rising tension. At one point, it may seem as if the characters are being biased in favor of males, but then comes Louise Smith who is played by Jenifer Lewis. She brings new light to the defense of females everywhere with her comments alone. The Brothers is an above average movie that I see being on top for a while.
