Rhia's wacky songs, all of which are parodies on real life music! Muhahahaha! For a bit of trivia, 'One Klah Glory' is based upon Jonathon Larson's 'One Song Glory' from his stunning rock opera "RENT", as was 'Monaco Bay' from his 'Santa Fe'. 'I Dreamed A Song' was inspired by 'I Dreamed A Dream' from "Les Miserables". Gripe about my parodies of them at your leisure -- I can only say that I was extremely bored when I wrote those.. And for those enquiring minds, I /did/ put 'I Dreamed A Song' up for the Bad Song Contest of Phaedra's Gather, but sadly, the whole contest was called off. 'One Klah Glory' made it's Bad Song Mark(tm) upon Liessa's concert, using Rhia's ex-roommate Esmy as the person pulling it all off.
My newest edition, "The Renegade's Staff Has A Knob On The End", was based upon the popular "The Wizard's Staff Has A Knob On The End", written by some Discworld fans. Yes, it's copyrited, both by The Turtle Moves! website and Terry Pratchett. As Nanny Ogg says, "Bugger off and don't try to use it!" :) It has also replaced the song "Monaco Bay" in my songbook.
Another song that I did not write but I feel should nonetheless
be linked is L'zan's wonderful instrumental of Ahzraelth. I can only hope
that he will do his own Vorth justice as far as music goes.
