Premise

Earth, 3141 A.D. You have just disappeared from the face of the planet.

An organic mass the size of a star hangs in the void. It houses thousands of worlds, Prisons you must traverse with the fleeting hope of escape.

Where are you? What is this immense tangle of worlds? Who put you here? And why?

Armed with a blaster, forced to survive like an animal in a place very far from home, you will have to find allies and unravel the mysteries of PRISON INFINITY.

Gameplay

A single-player total conversion set in a bizarre, futuristic world. Strategic action gameplay with an epic storyline.

Weapons, monsters, and environments interact in many combinations giving rise to strategic situations that will require you to think while you shoot. Talk to inhabitants, make friends, and maybe you can figure out what the Habitat is.

A few multi-function weapons offer many ways to solve puzzles and destroy foes. Autonomous objects like turrets and hovering guardians help and hinder you.

Plans

It looks likely that we will produce this game using the Serious Sam engine. The locations in Prison Infinity include outdoors areas and huge, towering structures that Half-Life (our original choice of engine) would have choked on. So it seems that we can create the game world just as lushly we imagine it.

This is spare-time work, so progress might be spotty. But since members of our team produce very high quality work, we hope it will be worth the wait. And because our Managing Director, Screaming Jesus, has has lead an ambitious project before (Dawn of Darkness for Quake II), the wait won't last forever.

We're currently in the design and conceptual phase. No code or in-game art has been created.
