Neanderthal Return Website

I admit it's not much of a Website, it's purpose is to introduce you to a new author, Roger W. Knight, that is me, and my view of the world.  Here you can download for free short stories I have written, Penny from Heaven, which is short, La Enigma Cynthia, a little longer, and Big Bertha, a longer short story.  Free download does not mean free copyright.  If you wish to publish any of these stories in print or make a film based on them, my written permission is required.

To poke fun at the web hosting agreements, I wrote How Snow White Violates Web Hosting Agreements.  Then later on, the Queen Got Recalled!!

Meanwhile, Governor Schwarzenegger Announces the new Model T-1000 California Highway Patrolman.

If you like these stories, I can then direct you to www.1stbooks.com, where you can purchase my full length novel, Neanderthal Return A good friend of mine, Ivy Rose Nightscales, has placed her book of poetry, Garden of Words, on www.1stbooks.com.  If you like poetry, please give her book a look.

The novel will cost you some money, further details at the 1stbooks Website.  If you are an aspiring author, and you have a completed novel or other work, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or any other collection of words, 1stbooks can tell you how to get your work on their Website for sales.  Feel free to tell them I sent you, I get paid a referral fee if you choose to place your work on their Website.  1stbooks sells numerous works by many authors.  You can download the electronic version of each work anywhere on the Planet Earth where you can hook a computer to the Internet.  However, for those works that are set up for print on demand, as is Neanderthal Return, 1stbooks will only ship printed and bound trade paperback volumes to North American locations, specifically the United States and Canada. I do not know about Mexico.  I have found out that they will not ship to Australia.

But why, you might ask, should you care for any of my writings?  I like to think that they are pure entertainment.  However, some people accuse me of putting social or political commentary in my writings.  Now would I do a thing like that?  Penny from Heaven is about three regular folks caught up in something extraordinary that is over as soon as it starts.  La Enigma Cynthia is about a woman with a few secrets.  Big Bertha is an interesting story about new technology and how an engineer can get into trouble just for suggesting it.

Neanderthal Return is about, you guessed it, Neanderthals.  But the Neanderthal people that I create and write about aren't your distant ancestor's hunter-gatherers.  No, they return, in a spacecraft of their own design, and knock us Earth Cro-Magnons out of our complacency!  Seems that the good folks, true aliens with problems of their own, who carved Face Mountain on Mars (badly eroded in the latest NASA photo, what a pity, it's worse than the Sphinx!), transplanted a bunch of Neanderthal people from Europe to another planet.  You would think that someone else would have thought of this before, but I haven't heard of it.  Folks just cannot think of Neanderthals as technologically modern humans who developed civilizations and technology.  But such people are what my story is about!

So what would one look like?  I drew a picture:

I think she is pretty.  She eats a balanced diet, has decent medical care, a good education, and incidentally, she is a qualified pilot of a magnetic drive flying saucer!  What more could you ask for?  She's smart, sexy, and strong as an ox!

She inherited the brow ridges, the chinless jawbone, and the large teeth of her ancestors.  She has muscles strong enough to allow her to defeat the average American football player in arm wrestling.  These muscles grow naturally to great strength without testosterone and weight lifting, they are a Neanderthal characteristic.  But when you look into those huge eyes, how can you not fall in love?  Or at least in lust.

Unfortunately, they've never heard of the gray folks from Zeta Reticuli.  Then again, they don't claim to have been there.  They say that their spacecraft is the first starship they have ever built.  To their radio telescopes, Earth shines like a beacon!  Guess where they go on their first intersteller trip?  Right here!  Zeta Reticuli can wait.

I have told you enough.  If you wish to know more, go to www.1stbooks.com and order the book!
