Half-Life is arguably, no, certainly the best PC game ever. It is a gripping First Person Shooter (FPS) action game, where you play as a scientist and shoot lots of aleins. However, the game is not even nearly as simple as this, and has an intense and gripping plot. I won't spoil the surprise.

Half-life contains several weapons, some modern and 'real', others bizare and exciting. The enemies are not only sinister aliens, but government soldiers and assassins sent out to kill, equipt with some dangerous artificial intelligence (AI).

Although Half-Life is cracking to play by your self, It's finest feature is multiplyer. Play deathmatch with people from all over the world, or play on the modifications of the game. The finest of these many 'mods' being Counter-Strike and Team Fortress Classic. More on these in the links.

When i can be bothered, I wil add some nice screenshots of half-life in single player, to make this page a little more interesting. Some links will also appear for half-life.
