The Hermes Project is a project that may seem like it is straight out of a science fiction book. But its possibilitys are as real as u and me and the Technology to build such a project exists just not all in the same place at the same time. The Challenge of this project is not just to reach another planet but to reach it with out governmental assistance in othwer wordsa to do it all of private sponsorhip and onnations this will end up being more of a challenge than the mission itself. The name derives from the Greek messanger of the goods Hermes as a manned or womaned flight to another planet would surly be a message to the gods.
