She felt like that herself. There was greatness as she defeated that Borg cube, then there was great sorrow, hatred, when she found Tom collapsed over the helm, unmoving and limp. His body was burned to the point where she could barely tell that it was in fact him. The flames on the helm kept burning, engulfing. Her rage bubbled, and then the fury came in the form of tears.
