Many years ago, several aliens were wrongly branded as criminals by a corrupt government. They relocated to Earth and quietly blended in with humanity. Today, most of these aliens have passed on, but they had children with humans. These children have inherited the natural alien abilities of their parents. Eight of these children now fight evil as the Adventurers.
Now that the Adventurers are aware of their alien heritage, they face an uncertain future. They have great powers, and already they've become minor celebrities in Chicago. But their friend Jeff was killed. Their mentor Grayle stood revealed as a manipulative murderer, and he was taken back to his home galaxy for trial. Although the Adventurers agree that he needed to be arressted, its left the heroes directionless and without a clear leader. Even worse, it's left an empty hole in the Sorceress, who had only recently discovered that Grayle was her long lost father. And David, who discovered that Grayle was the man who murdered his girlfriend in order to manipulate him into joining the team, now may never have the chance for retribution.
So the question stands...if they wish to continue playing superhero, who will rise to lead the heroes into their cloudy future?
