Well now where should I start. I went on my first cruise last week. (7/31/00-8/6/00). I suppose that it was suppose to be really nice and all, but thats just not my kind of vacation I guess. We left New Orleans on a sunday. It took us four hours just to get on board. Then we had to do a boat drill before we could start on our cruise. It lasted an hour and we had to wear stupid life jackets that made you look like you had no neck. All we did was stand in front of a boat for an hour and that was it. Then we finally get underway. We sailed for TWO days straight! Now I know why sailors go crazy after a while. All there was was WATER and MORE WATER. It was insane. Anyway after TWO days of nothing we finally get to Jamaica. Im thinking great a beach. I can go swim that might be fun. Wrong. Jamaica is boring as hell. Only thing thats interesting there is that its LEGAL to smoke weed. Also my dad had this guy that asked him if he wanted to buy some weed. That was a little amusing. Then we got back on the boat. We sail for little less then a day and we get to Grand Cayman. Best place on the entire trip if you ask me. Went to a sandbar where we got to feed sting rays. Came back to the boat. We sailed for less than a day again. Got to Cozumel. Got off went to a private island owned by Carnival®. I got sun burned while swiming. Did that for bout 3 hours got back on the boat and did nothing for a day and a half till we got back to New Orleans. Oh and the bus drivers in Jamacia and Grand Caymen. They are NUTS. They are driving school busess at like 70 miles an hour. While weaving in and out of traffic like they were on a bike. Basically I guess it was an ok vacation if you like that sorta thing. I personally do not. My vacation would be to a cabin by the lake where all I had to do was fish. Oh well. And I missed Allison the entire time! Im sure that if you have read all the way to the end you are bored as hell. Guess I will stop typing now...Till next time!
