This Fan Fiction by Nebulie HARRY'S FIRST LOVE Harry sighed and leaned against the backboard of his bed. It really got boring during the summer in his room. All his books and broomstick were locked in his old room. Hedwig was in her cage in his room, but locked up. He had no way to communicate. With nothing to do but stare out his window, that's what he found himself doing most of the time. He had a pretty good view. It faced the street, so he could see cars drive by, people mow their lawns, and children play with their pets. The birdbath was visible from where he sat, too. That was about as interesting as his life got. He slumped down in his chair by the window, as he did yesterday and the day before that. He put his elbows on the windowsill and his chin in his hands. A blue car rolled by. A bird swooped down to the birdbath and sprayed itself with water. He huffed and wondered what Ron was doing then. Probably catching gnomes, he thought. Another car went by. It pulled in the driveway and stopped. I haven't seen that car here before, he thought. He peered at the car with more curiosity. A man opened the door and walked out. On the other side a girl did the same thing. Harry gaped at her. She was more beautiful then anything he'd ever seen. He read in Muggle-books about beautiful people. He'd seen them in magazines also. But never like this. He was struck to the bone with breathless delight. His soul was on fire. He shook himself and looked at her closer. She was shorter than he, with blonde was hair tied back in a ponytail. She wore a simple white T-shirt and blue jeans. Her smile dominated her face. There was an energy that drew him to her. He started leaning forward subconsciously and smacked his forehead against the window. "Ow!" he said, rubbing his forehead. When he looked up again at her, she was gazing at him in the same way he had at her. He gave a start of shock. Is she really looking at me? he thought. He looked around and at her again. There was nothing out of place. She must be looking at him. She smiled even broader to see him looking at her. She waved at him. He dumbly waved back. She rushed over to the man and whispered something, pointing to the house. He shrunk back into his room and pretended to do something. When he looked back out the window, she was gone, but the man was still there. He was looking at the house too. Good, maybe the Dursleys are finally moving, he hoped. Then, there was a doorbell ring. Keep looking out for the contiuation of HARRY'S FIRST LOVE! Harry gulped. If the Dursleys found out a girl were visiting HIM, he'd never live it down. Dudley would torment him. But then again it could be a friend of theirs. He pressed his ear against the door. He could hear Petunia getting up to get the door. "Good evening, can I do something for you?" she said in a sickeningly sweet voice. "There was a boy upstairs in the window," the girl said. "I was wondering if I could talk to him." Harry heard Uncle Vernon cough and sputter at the mention of him. Harry's stomach sank. He couldn't talk to her. He was too afraid. What would she think of him? And the scar on his forehead was huge. She was too beautiful for him. "Boy? What boy? I don't know what you're talking about," said Aunt Petunia, in the same sweet voice. He heard the girl get confused. "But I saw someone up thereS He waved to me. Are you sure?" Uncle Vernon nearly shouts, "Yes, little girl, we are sure! I think we would know if there was another boy in our house! Good day!" he said with finality. There was a door slam and Harry ran to his window. The girl was walking back to the house. She turned around to see if he was still there. He gave her a sorrowful look and shrugged. She simply smiled and gave him a sign to wait a minute.
