I am Lt. Col. Johqib Pin'a' sutai-DevnoH (a.k.a. Steven Young) I am the Signal Corp Commander. This office was set up in my area, the Dark Phoenix Quadrant, to get ships to communicate with each other. Since this was started in my state, communication has improved 200%. The Navy COM officer in my area also contributed. This is a Marine based office and the Navy is welcomed and encouraged to participate.
During Dragon Con 2000 this office became a Fleet position prompting a change in how the office operates. The office will be utilized to share information and ideas. The goal is to have a Signal Corp officer in every state so that the person you deal with is someone you know.
Q: What are the duties of Signal Corp officer?
A: The Signal Corp officer will keep in touch with the Com officer of each ship to insure that communication is working.
Q: What kind of communication will the Signal Corp officer be responsible for?
A: The Signal Corp officer will only need to see things dealing with challenges and fund raisers. Ideas and information can be exchanged in this way. The Signal Corp Command Office will not need information on ship get-togethers.
Q: Is the Signal Corp officer the only means to exchange ideas and information?
A: No. This site has a message board where information and ideas can be exchanged.
The Dragon Con committee has voted against our having a Jail-N-Bail because they do not wish to deal with the fire marshall.
