Border Patrol 1 - Vuurklou & Ryuko

Like this one lots ^_^ Not for anything (as of yet), but (I think) well planned for spur of the moment decisions. The flight suit is just
that - a flight suit. Also serves as insulator. The saddle arragement has a a space to slip her tail through (which she can wrap around
Vuurklou's waist if she wants a more secure hold), the leg braces(not very clear here) have straps to keep the pilot in place during aerial maneuvers.
The reason it has no pommel is because the leg braces serve that purpose and so that the rider can lean over close to the body.
Clipped to Ryuko's belt is an extendable spear(the little greenblue thing).
Border Patrol 2 - Veldwind & Hogosha

Um, rider came through kinda androgynous, he's male though. Same suit except no gloves. Veldwind is not wearing a saddle and would
die of embarrasment if she was ever seen with one on. She'd also seriously maim the person who tried to put one on her. Hogosha has an
extendable staff instead of a spear.
Border Patrol 3 - Lugeter & Tanto

*G* The tech section of the Patrol. Lugeter is a telekinetic alien(hence why it's floating). Tanto is an cyborg, kinda. Hmm, mechanically augmented
might be a better term. Limited telekinetic abilities. Extendable elbow blades and staff. Same saddle arrangement as for Vuurklou
except a solid back. The legbrace a little clearer here.
Border Patrol 4 - Sonvere & Horus

Well, here's Horus(yes, I broke from the pattern, his name isn't Japanese), sitting in the saddle, holding a bolt for his crossbow(in case you were wondering
what that is on his lap. The Egyptians did in fact have a phoenix in their legends. I protrayed Sonvere as a heron-like phoenix, not satisfied with the
crest feathers, *shrug* but the tail feathers came out quite nicely :}
Border Patrol 5 - Slagtand & Siofra

*nod* Yep, since this is so obviously a Celtic theme I decided to give Siofra(pronounced SHEE-fra) an Irish name. That torque around her neck is a
status symbol, and she carries the extended spear. She deals more in magic than arms, but can wield the spear with deadly efficiency.
Slagtand comes from the Wild Hunt, hence his large size, and I put the earing in just to keep in
theme - he had to have at least somthing dark green. I like the furry effect I managed, but I'm not estatic about his hindquarters.
Border Patrol 6 - Bloubrander & Safa

^_^ Back to the pattern, one Afrikaans name, one Japanese. (hint, the nonhumanoid partners are the ones with the Afrikaans names) Some quibbles,
but very happy overall :} Glad the brown spots/circles on Safa's arms came through that well, and really happy with Bloubrander's head. And,
yes, those are gills on Safa's neck. He's a shark mer. I decided to adjust the standard uniform for him, and I don't mean just the legs either - this is a more
'open' suit than the rest, being sleeveless and having a low collar(to accomodate the gills)
Border Patrol 7 - Geluk & Tora

Tiger hybrid & Kirin(chinese unicorn) Maanhoring's scales didn't make it through the scanner as well as I'd hoped, and for some reason Tora looks like she
has a stuffy nose, but other than that..*shrug* Tora's suit has no feet for rather obvious reasons :} and I finally found someone that could do
orange hair and get away with it ^_^
Border Patrol 8 - Kleinduif & Kuroima

Yes! Look at that pattern! Look at the bellyscales! The shading, the texture! That is very close to an actual rattlesnake pattern, all it's missing are the
dark spots below the diamond shaped thingies. ^_^ I like this pic. (just in case you hadn't already picked up on that ;}) Also like the human, got
him a nice expression(not that the expression expresses a 'nice' feeling, I mean the expression itself is well done(for me)). Kleinduif can be ridden, but
they prefer to keep that for emergencies(Kleinduif shifts size & can lose the wings, so a saddle isn't really practical)
Border Patrol 9 - Blitsvere & Hoshi

Oh, yes, just.. a.. little.. to.. the.. right.... ahhhh.... ^_^ Blitsvere loves to have his ears scratched. So it's a good thing Hoshi
has four arms ;} Blitsvere's coloration came out really nice, and I like that contented/blissful look on his mug. Hoshi has an added advantage in
that she can wield both magic and her staff at the same time. (pre-prepared fireballs, ain't life grand ^_^ she has to concentrate to prepare
other spells, though)
Border Patrol 10 - Langoor & Sawarei

Langoor is my interpretation of a Bunyip - an Australian creature said to inhabit swamps,
waterholes, springs; just about any water source. Sawarei is one of the youngest among the Patrol, so Langoor is still showing him the ropes.
Border Patrol 11 - Sproete & Hifuu

Sproete is an alien, don't like the way his left fin (facing him) came out, but I had to
bend it to make it fit. Hifuu has seal blood somewhere in her family tree and it shows. Amazing lung capacity being one of the advantages. Her suit comes w/ built in flippers & the buckle's been adjusted a bit.
Border Patrol 12 - Kleinsus & Mizuta

The last in the series. If you're terribly upset and would like to see more and/or have a good pair from an obscure or fairly obscure culture, email me. At this stage the Patrol is complete, though. Polynesian theme here. Okay, bunch up. Now scootch in a bit more. Could you move the tail in closer? Now Really crouch. Egh, and I still lost
the edge of her tail, oy. Kleinsus draws heavily from the recent
Godzilla movie, after all, Godzilla did grow up in the Polynesian Islands there. Mizuta's tattoos were a bit fuzzed in the scanner, unfortunately, and yes, his suit colour
is pink. It's the only colour I hadn't used yet, and though I have light and dark green,
I really prefer each pair have their own individual colour. Really like how
Mizuta came out, esp. the tattoos and hair. ^_^
