-Hufflepuff Could Suprise-

Hufflepuff could be the suprise team this upcoming quidditch season at Hogwarts Online. The Hufflepuff team features one of the best chasers in the school, Rachel Wilkins, whom is already being scouted by many pro teams. She will be leading the team as the captain.
     Hufflepuff also features two very good beaters: Lili Potter and Jay Jordan. Lili has very quick reflexes, and is almost always right in the middle of the action. Jay Jordan is fairly fast and is one of the strongest beaters in the school.
     Rounding out the lineup is consistent keeper Fred Weasley, young Seeker Alex Green, and two of the fastest chasers in the school Elise Pettigerew and Kiele LaCuster.
     The heavy favorite to run away with the cup this season is Ravenclaw, who features brother chasers Remus and Matt Weasley. That doesn't seem to faze any of the Hufflepuff players however.
     "I think we have a great chance of upsetting Ravenclaw. They are way too confident. We definently have a chance." says captain, Rachel Wilkins.
     "I don't even see why they are the favorites. We are as talented as they are and I know we can contend with and beat them." says Jay Jordan.
     It should be a very interesting upcoming season, the race for the cup is wide open.

-Rumours of New Broom to Come Out-

aaThe upstart broom company Accio Brooms is trying to make a broom that is 1.4 times as fast as the Firebolt. They haven't come up with anything yet but they're thinking of calling it the "Thunder Strike5000."  Now don't expect anything coming out soon, it may not even come out at all. But everyone who even remotely likes Quiddich hopes it is a success.

-You-Know-Who supporters apprehended near London-

aaOfficers apprehended three you-know-who supporters just outside London yesterday. They were caught using one of the Unfogivable Curses, Avada Kadavra on the Gringin family. Nigel and Susan Gringin were one of the unsung couples that did a great deal of spying during the days of he-who-must-not-be-named. Unfortunetly, the 2 children, Anna and Troy and their mother Susan did not survive this treaturous act. Nigel is devastated. The culprits, Hue Klarkston and his two brothers, Frank and Kris will serve the rest of their lives in Azkaban.
aaaI visited Hogsmeade to see what the locals thought of this incident.
aa"This is one of the most horrible things I have seen since you-know-when! I can't believe that human beings would do such a thing," said a mother of three. "I think that they should endure the same pain that he put upon that poor family."
aa"And I 'ad the impression that these types of 'appenin's had finally died out," said a sympathetic wizard. "Boy, was I wrong. Sad, sad 'tis. Me and me wife was just horrified when we read about it."

-Hogwarts Online Professor, Minerva Mcgonagall is victim of a howler-

Hogwarts Online professor, Minerva Mcgonagall was sent a howler by an anonymous author Friday, August 3rd. She said that she was quite suprised to be receiving it, as she has no known enemies. Not wanting to face the conciquences of not opening it, she tore the seal. The following message was inside:

You better watch out Minny, Gryffindor is going down, and you can do nothing to stop it. I have eagerly awaited the day when Gryffindor would suffer the loss from the unsung heros of this school! Long live the yellow and black!

Though the howler was obviousley sent by an angry Hufflepuff fan, we will never know if that person is currently residing inside the castle walls.
