Touring you through the Weird World of Muggles

~Lesson~ ~Homework~ ~Test~

Grades

The homework didn't count as a grade, so I will post some of the things some students said:

Famous muggles:
Bill Gates 2; George Bush 4; Tim Burton; Adam Sandler; Julia Roberts; Brad Pitt; Beyonce Knowles; Malcomb-X; Adolf Hitler; Al Gore; Bill Clinton; Queen Elizabeth II;

Muggles have been present in the world for obviously ever.  They have, over the years, learned how to cope with difficult situations and obstacles without the use of magic.  This, has been a great accomplishment on their part which deserves a large amount of credit and respect.  I in turn, respect muggles greatly.- Marie Black

This Week's Lesson

Muggles. When some wizards or witches think of the term "muggle",
they think of an ignorant, non-magic, inferior, incomplete human
being. Well, that actually is very incorrect. About the only reletive term
in the last sentence would be non-magic. The definition of a muggle is: "A human being whom is not capable of perfoming the art of magic." They are not stupid, or incomplete; they just aren't magical.

One of the most asked questions in my classes is very similar to an old debate, which will probably never be solved; Which came first, the chicken, or the egg? Well, no one actually knows if the first human was muggle or magic. There is absolutley no way that any historian could uncover that mystery. It is amazing to many magic people how muggles get along without magic. Some people actually respect them a whole lot for that because they are doing a very good job of it! You will learn many of those ways in this class this year.

Homework

For this weeks homework you are to tell me:
1- the definition of a muggle
2- one well known person in the non-magic communtiy ex. Michael Jordon
3- your opinion of muggles and why you think that
4- how many years of school a muggle takes(not including college. If you don't know what that is, we'll get to that later)

This is not for a grade, it is just going to tell me what you know and think.
Next week we will have homework that is for a grade. However, if you fail to turn this
in you lose your house 2 points!
