List of Essays
The attack on American Nationalism. Written 16 December 2004. Summery: My first essay on the attack on American Nationalism. Two pages long.
Rome to Washington: Heritage. An early incomplete-looking essay written two years ago on the relation between Rome and America. About two pages long.
A Letter to Whomever: Jumpgate Rocks! A letter than turned into an essay on why Jumpgate was unknown, and lists the usual reasons why you never heard of games - and disproves them in this case. Three pages long.
The Samurai Sword. First speech written for my (dropped) Speech 1 class. Not every long. About Samurai Swords - prop was a live katana.
Essay: Massive Multi-Ton Tool of Potential Mass Destruction. About driving. Two and a half pages long, it won the award for best title in the class.
Forgivness unto myself. Three pages long or so. Essay for the same class, and I consider it - sadly, considering the topic - my best peice of writing. Four pages long.
Free Speech and Free Access to Information - Full Speech. My speech for the Orange County Academic Decathalon, 2002/2003 school year. Not the best of speeches. Topic is technology's impact on the sharing of information and ideas.
Good Events: The Never Ending Essay. The first line popped into my head, and I thought: Hell. Write it. So I wrote it. Goes into philosophy on evil and good - and says I'm going to try to share what people thought were good events in their lives. As the name says, its incomplete, the last two lines written recently, the bulk over a year ago.
Instructions on how to access folders remotely. I wrote this my senior year in high school, as the official instructions from the computer lab faculty member to give out to teachers to hand to students. It was the first year we ever used the system, and the initial instructions were rather... wieldy.
Memo criticising grading methods in Virutal Enterprise class. Same year of highschool, far different teacher. An idiotic teacher. Worst teacher I ever met - not only didn't have a clue what she was teaching, she contradicted the books, and sapped all enthusiasm for the classes out of the students. This is me pointing out the obvious flaw in her grading methods.
Music in the Song: Lyrics. A song I wrote after I got the tune and the meaning stuck in my head. Music is imporant to me, everywhere you go you can't escape music... especially if you listen to it.
Preparedness and Confidance. Another essay from my English 1A class. Also can be titled, The Sword and the Speech.
