The dangerous and seductive operative known as "The Cigar Girl"
worked with Renard on several assassination missions,
although now she has decided that this one will be her last.The scenes filmed recently in Bilbao show her with Renard, speculating on how best to dispose of 007. Her scenes in London prove there is no doubt that this girl is a real femme fatale, as she speeds down the River Thames in a heavily armoured powerboat after having blown the sides off the MI6 building. There can be much speculation about this girl, and her significance. It increasingly appears that the Cigar Girl will only be glimpsed briefly, in the pre-titles sequence, but will make a lasting impression with her sultry looks and deadly skills. After attempting to destroy the MI6 Building in London, Bond engages in pursuit with her using a high powered Q Speedboat. Unfortunately, she meets a sticky end when the hot air balloon she is travelling in near the Millennium Dome, is blown to smithereens. Whilst visiting the Millennium Dome, the author had the fortune to witness Maria filming some of her scenes aboard the balloon. |
