Electronic Voice Phenomena

Following are the Electronic Voice Pheneomena (EVP) we have captured on tape so far. We use simple audio recording devices with external microphones.

At least 2 audio recording devices are used at a time while on an investigation. Brand new, quality cassette tapes are always used. These voices are discovered when the tapes are played back. These voices are not heard at the time of recording.

"Amber" Man's voice whispering on our investigation on January 27, 2001 at a historical building on Main Avenue, Durango, Colorado.

"Get Out" Same man's voice saying "get out" at the beginning of the file. At the end, it seems he says "wisher". We need your help with the middle part - half way through. You will hear us talking and the floor creeking, but he talks or whispers something during that. Let us know if you can tell what he is saying.

"Man's Voice" This EVP we recorded on our investigation on February 4, 2001 at the same building in Durango, CO. This is a different gentleman from the "whisperer". This is a recording from a video tape and is a little hard to understand. No one was in the building at the time except for Roberta and I. Let us know if you can understand what he is saying.

"Take what you want..I won't mind" Recorded on February 4, 2001 at the same Durango building. She seems to like us!

"Whisperer Guy" Recorded on our investigation on February 17, 2001 -same building in Durango, CO. Tell us what you think he says.

"Strange Sound" Recorded on March 3, 2001 in Durango, CO. Notice the sound of cars driving by the building. What is the strange sound after that?

"the bar" Same whisperer guy saying something new! He's a crazy guy!

"They're not here anymore" Same building, same whisperer gentleman.

"Yah" This seems to be a different gentleman. We think he might be Scandanavian.

The next EVP's were recorded on March 31, 2001, same building in Durango. This time, we interacted with the ghosts and asked plenty of questions. We got some different responses. We got many more EVP's on our tape that evening, but only posted the three below.

"Come out late"

"Pictures"

"Can't take a quick break"

"Up Here"

The EVP Queens are at it again. The next 2 EVP's were captured at the Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, CO on April 20 & 21, 2001. Give us your opinions.

Tell us what you think he/they say

Little Boy

The next 2 EVP's we recorded at the Bayfield Cemetery, Bayfield, CO. It was a calm night and we sat in the car most of the night. We had 3 recorders taping at once in different areas of the cemetery.

"Have a Good Day"A nice woman telling us to have a good day.

"We never go" This sounds like a young man, maybe with an English accent. Not sure on this one, let us know what you think.

The next EVP's were recorded on our investigation at the Durango Elks Lodge on May 5, 2001. The first is the voice of one of two ghosts there. We were recording and were getting great EMF readings. We asked what his name was, after the 3rd man's named mentioned, he told us what his name was. Can't wait to go back and ask him some more questions. The first part is my voice and then he speaks. "It's Robert"

September 8, 2001 - The next EVP's were recorded on our most recent investigation in Bayfield, CO. The building is an old carriage house or garage. We'll provide more details later, but here are some excellent recordings we captured.
Tell us what you hear.

EVP in shed #4

September 22, 2001 - Back to the historic building on Main Avenue in Durango. Approximately 9:00 PM. We just arrived and were setting up our equipment. I was talking about the new flashlight I bought and and Roberta said a couple of times "that's nice" and "cool". Our whisper guy (or is the whisper woman now) seemed to agree.

EVP #1

Still setting up our equipment, and Roberta says if her new stand will work for her microphone. A different voice speaks up repeating what she says.

"See if it works"

"God Bless You"

On a recent visit to our old stand by haunted building, Roberta just finished singing, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", and this is that the ghost had to say after that.

"She ran to me"

This is one of a few EVP's we recorded at an old hotel in Durango. The motion detector just went off. After running down the stairs to turn it off, this was recorded. (the loud word after our ghost lady is us talking)
