Orders are taken through any of the above channels.
Payment is usually required in advance.
In case of special orders from Kathmandu, a deposit is requested.
The order can be refused by mutual agreement.

Credit and Debit Card

All major credit or debit cards are accepted for payment subject to authorisation. Cheques have to be drawn on UK bank. This is not protectionist attitude from Pema's Craft, rather a consequence of the strong reluctance from UK banks to admit that other countries also have banking systems, and that it could actually work better (from the customer's point of vue). It is very difficult, time consuming and costly to try to cash foreign cheques, even "eurocheques".

I am sure that any non-UK resident will find alternatives to cheques.
