The Troyka religion was founded in 2001, but its roots date back to 1998. Lynn Quitman Troyka wrote the Simon & Schuster Handbook for Writers, the fifth edition. In 2001 it was discovered by the High Priestess Bird. Troyka's words inspired the Bird to spread the gospel of Troyka to all high school seniors.
