Destruct-O-Match

There are 3 (technically 4) modes of play to this game.

Normal- This is where the special blocks are. You have to match atleast two blocks of the same color and they explode. A good strategy for this level is to first get rid of the count down boulder. After that, use the "overkill" boulder (the one that has a circle with arrows pointing out) to get rid of all of the rocks in that color. The next block to use is the question mark boulder to go ahead and drop a line (don't worry, the color you got rid of won't be there). Then work your way down trying to make as large groups as you can. Save the fire boulder for a last resort.

Extreme- This one is sort of monotonous and can get really aggrivating if you've got back luck in blocks. There are two strategies for this one. While the game is slow, let it almost build up to the top and quickly make large group destructions. Or you can just click around like crazy.

Zen- This one starts you off in the Normal mode, but you don't get NP. It's good practice though.

There is a "hidden" level. If you type "boohooiwanttheoldgameback" in at the screen where you select your game mode, you're back in the first version of Destruct-O-Match. You can still get Neopoints. For some reason, I think you can only get it if you get over 150 points in the game.

Each block is 1 point. In Normal Mode, if you clear the board it's 250 point bonus. In Extreme Mode, clearing the board is only a 50 point bonus. For every 35 points you get in the game, you get 100 NP. From my experience, Extreme Mode allows you to get a higher payout... but if your looking for consistancy you may want to play in Normal Mode.

There aren't any avatars... but does have trophies. Appearently though, it's based on overall scores. Top 3 get gold, next 5 get silver, and next 10 get bronze.
