“Sixth Plague: The Boils”

“Again God demonstrated His ability to control nature. When the death of their cattle didn't convince the Egyptians, God sent a plague that seized their own bodies. And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast (Exod. 9:10). Sores in the body were looked upon as punishment for sin, a means by which to call one to repentance. None of the Hebrews had any boils.”

“shin” is the Hebrew word for the sixth plague “the boils”.

 

And shin is also our band. Consisting of Zach Levi (Drummer), Tal Markus (Bass and Backing Vocals) and Eyal Eizenberg  AKA  I.Z (Guitars and Lead Vocals)

We are a rock/Metal band from Israel in our baby steps, and this is our first effort of recording a song.

It was recorded using cakewalk home studio 2002 and an “Area Microphone”.

Here are the results…

This song is called “Current Status”, and it represents the current status in the world in my eyes on three different levels:

1)      The age of cell phones and running around in circles looking to do nothing.

2)      The religious confrontations all over the world on who’s religion is better.

3)      The constant fear of death and how it is unknown and feared even if it’s a natural death.

 

Anyway, enough bull-shit, enjoy the song.
