Kane is coming!

After a long and painful wait described by some, Trail of Screams announced that Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder) will appear at the outside haunted attraction (October 21-24) Trail of Screams is in its 3rd year of operation out at YMCA Camp Winnebago. Trail of Screams is the brain child of Ann Nabers. It is written by Thom Davis, which used to work for Chicago’s Second City. I talked to R.I.P Production’s internet marketing director. He told Scream news “Not only is the star big but Trail of Screams is growing too. “We have been constructing a like crazy” He said, “If you went to the trail last year and you come back this year, get ready for a whole new trail because much has changed.” He didn’t release any more details but by the way he put his word I could tell that he was excited. Last year The Trail of Screams hosted Leather Face (Gunnar Hanson) and he said it was blast. Well we can only wait for the Trail of Screams to opens its gates on October 8th and see what happens

Dream Reapers is waking up again!

Nightmares Inc. was formed in 1999 to produce high quality props and animatronics. Then Nightmare Inc. Decided to take start a haunted house that would return to the roots of haunted houses. Such as misleading passages, darkness, and actor based scares. While returning to the roots they adapted new technology. They opened up and quickly became an instant success. After it all it was named Illinois best haunt for three years in a role (judged by HauntedIllinois.com.) The designers Ken Spriggs, Rick Zawodniak, Mike Cash, and JT Talent had made it the great haunt but soon due to landlord issues and purchase of the strip mall that the haunt was located, the haunt was forced to move. Dream Reapers moved to an old warehouse in the same area in Melrose Park. The designer decided to take a few years off but after 6 months with out it, as Ken spriggs “our big toy”, Dream Reapers is opening back up this year!
