"Corrupt me," Orli says, his words not so much a plea as an order.  "Corrupt me, Viggo."  I shake my head, torn between wanting to laugh and wanting to tear off our bathrobes and, well, corrupt him.  "Damnit Vig, corrupt me!" he says again.

"Very well," I sigh exaggeratedly, swooping down for a kiss.  His hands immediately tangle in my hair and pull me further in while our tongues slide around each other.  Despite the thick terry material of the robes, I can feel Orli getting hard just like I am, and I nip at his bottom lip.  He moans and thrusts his hips upwards so that our cocks brush against one another through the fabric.  "What do you want?" I whisper as I start to trail kisses down his neck.

"Anything."  He pulls my mouth to his for another kiss, moaning as I slip my fingers under the robe and brush over his nipples.  "Need more," he gasps against my lips.

Suddenly the door opens.  Orli and I look up in shock to see four grinning hobbits running into the room.  "What the fuck?!" I exclaim as I sit up.

"Good morning," Sean laughs.

"Um, what are you doing here?" Orli asks.

"We wanted to congratulate you on getting back together," Dom says simply.

"How'd you get into the room?" I demand.

"Lijah told the hotel clerk that he plays Frodo Baggins and that he wanted to play a prank on a castmate, so she gave him the key," Sean explains.

"We didn't know we would be interrupting anything," Lij teases.  "Should we leave you two alone?"

"After all," Billy says, "you *do* have seven months worth of celibacy to make up for."

"They made up for some of that last night," Lij giggles.  "Orli went to Ian to get lube."

"Lij, please shut up," Orli groans, his face beginning to turn red.

"And he had a hickey on his chest," Lij adds.

"Elijah Jordan Wood, stop teasing my boyfriend this minute!" I order in my Aragorn voice.

"Yes, Viggo," he says meekly.  Orli curls up next to me in gratitude.

"So how did you guys work everything out?" Dom asks as he sits down on the bed with us, completely unaware of the concept of personal space.

"We just told each other how we felt," Orli explains.  "We apologized for the stupid things we did and we resolved a lot of stuff."

"And you're back together for good?" Billy asks with a touch of concern in his voice.  "We don't have to worry about this kind of nonsense happening again, do we?"

"It's for good," I assure them.  "We can't bear the thought of losing each other again."

"Thank God," Sean says.  "I just wish it hadn't taken you so long to talk this whole thing over.  After you left the party last night I was worried about how things worked out, but Lij came knocking on my door this morning to tell me that you were together again."

"Then I told Dom and Billy, and Billy got the idea to break into the room and surprise you," Lij explains.

"But in my defense," Dom interjects, "I had no clue you'd be snogging like teenagers."

"Well, you should have entertained the possibility," Orli says with a smile as he wraps himself around me.  "I can't keep my hands off of him for very long."

"Oh, we remember that little detail of your relationship," Billy smirks.

"It's cute how they're both wearing bathrobes, isn't it?" Sean comments.

"Yeah, it probably means that they showered together," Dom laughs.

"Now *there's* a mental image I don't need," Lij complains.

"You guys are starting to overstay your welcome," I warn.

"So how many times did you two shag last night?" Dom asks with a devious smile, ignoring the glare Orli gives him.  "Three?  Five?  Who was on top?"

"Was Orli loud?" Sean questions.

"I bet he was," Billy says confidently.  "He was probably like, 'Oh Viggo, more!  Harder!  Yes!'"

"Jesus Christ," Orli mutters, burying his head in his hands.

"Give it to me, Viggo!" Lij cries in a British accent.  "God, you're such a big, strong man and I need you now!"

"Enough," I plead.

"Get dirty with me, Vig," Dom says, mimicking Orli's voice almost perfectly.  "Fuck my pretty arse 'til I can't--"

"Stop!" Orli orders.  "All of you, out!  I love you guys, but enough is enough."

"Fine, be grumpy," Lij grouses.

"Stupid elf can't take a joke," Sean laughs.

"See you later!" Billy calls before he leaves the room.

"Don't break the bed!" Dom cries as he literally skips to the door.

Once the door closes behind them, we both sigh in relief.  "That was interesting," I say with a grin.  "Remind me again why we love those guys."

"Because they're proof that *we're* not the craziest people in the cast," Orli tells me as he kisses my jawline.  "Now enough talking.  Let's get back to what we were doing before the interruption."

"Fine with me."

*****

"So anyway, I'll be in L.A. for pretty much all of January and most of March," Orli explains as we sit at the sidewalk cafe enjoying lunch.  There are a few other people around us, but it's actually fairly empty right now and no one's paying us any attention.

"That'll be wonderful.  I'll run it by Henry, but I can't conceive of it being a problem for him."

"When are you going to call him?"

"Later this afternoon."  I take a sip of my iced tea.  "Maybe around four or so."

"Oh, could I bring my stuff into your room when we get back?  It'd just make things easier when we're getting ready."

"Sure, go ahead."

We share a smile and his foot nudges mine affectionately under the table.  I mouth the words 'love you' to him and his smile widens.  "It's comfortable, isn't it?" he muses.  "Just being together after everything -- it doesn't feel awkward."

"Sometimes," I say softly, "your connection with another person is so deep that no separation can truly interrupt it."

"What do we have here?"  Orli and I look up to see Ian approaching.  "Are you boys enjoying your day?"

"We're having a wonderful day, thank you," I tell him with a grin.

"You didn't tire yourselves out too much last night, did you?" he says in a low voice, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

We both blush a little.  "We, uh, we had a good time," Orli manages to say.  "Oh, and we bought you a replacement for . . . well, what you lent us."

"Thank you, but that's not necessary," Ian assures us.  "Just consider what I gave you last night a belated anniversary gift."

"Thanks," Orli and I say simultaneously.

"So everything's going to be alright?" he asks, pulling up a chair and sitting down.

"Yes," I tell him firmly.  "And thanks in no small part to you for knowing when to break a confidence.  Seriously, you really are a wonderful friend, Ian.  We owe you one."

"Nonsense.  I merely want all of my friends to be happy, and nobody deserves that happiness more than you two.  May I ask how you put things back together?"

"By being honest," Orli says.  "We made apologies and granted forgiveness, as well as talking about the issue that separated us to begin with."

"Ah, and did you come to any conclusions on that front?" Ian queries.

"We set a date to come out," I explain, thankful that no one is close enough to hear our conversation.  "One that will give me enough time to work through my fears surrounding the issue."

"Wonderful.  Well, I should let you get back to your lunch," Ian tells us as he stands up.  "Nick is waiting for me at a store around the corner.  I'll see you later."

"Bye," Orli says.

"Have a good afternoon," I add.

"You, too."  Ian leaves us, and Orli and I start eating again.

"That was nice of him to make last night's offering a gift," I remark.

"Yeah.  Besides," Orli laughs, "it's probably the best anniversary present anyone could give the two of us."

*****

"Wait, can you hold the lift?" Orli cries as we dash through the lobby.  The elevator doors reopen for us.  "Thank you so much -- Sean!  Hi!"

Bean grins at us when we join him in the elevator.  "And how's the happy couple doing today?"

"We're doing pretty well," I say with a smile.

"Are either of you having any trouble sitting down after last night?" he asks.

"Not that it's any of your business, but no," Orli tells him with narrowed eyes.  "And I wish everyone would stop teasing us about our sex life."

"Oh Orlando, we tease because we love.  Besides, would you rather endure some gentle teasing or multiple severe tongue-lashings from everybody for hurting each other like that and behaving like stubborn arses?"

"Um, we'll take the teasing," Orli says.

"Good boy."

*****

"Hello?"

"Hey, Henry."

"Dad!  How's New Zealand?"

"It's beautiful and warm," I tell him.  "How's L.A?"

"About the same.  When's the premiere?"

"In two hours."

"Um, how are you doing with Orli being there and everything?  Is that really hard?"

I smile, touched by his concern.  "Well, it was at first.  But then we sat down and talked about a lot of things."

"Really?  That's great!  So are you guys friends now?"  I can hear the grin in his voice.

"Actually, we got back together."

"What?!  Are you serious?!"  His voice is so loud that I wince and jerk the receiver away from my ear for a moment.  "Oh my God, I can't *believe* it!"

"Well, believe it."

"Hang on a sec.  Exene!" Henry calls.  "Dad's back together with Orli!"  In the background I can hear Exene say, "It's about fucking time!" and I laugh. "Okay, so give me all the details," my son says breathlessly.  "What happened between you two?"

"You don't need to know all the details."

"Aw, come on Dad!" he whines.  "Can't you at least tell me what made you get back together?"

"Look, all you need to know is that Orli and I love each other very much.  We both made mistakes, and we've worked through our problems."

"So does this mean you'll stop being all 'brooding artist' and everything?"

"I guess so," I chuckle.

"Good.  You were kinda wigging me out there for a while."

"Sorry about that."

"It's okay.  So can I talk to him?  Is he there?"

"Yeah, in a second.  But first I need to ask you something."

"Go ahead."

"Well, Orli's going to be spending a lot of time in L.A. over the next few months, and I--"

"Is he staying with you?  That'd be really cool to see him all the time."

"So you're fine with him staying at our house?"

"Of course!  And maybe some of Orli's coolness will rub off on you," he teases.

"Stranger things have happened," I say wryly.  "So do you want to say hi to him?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, hang on."

"Cool.  Love you, Dad."

"I love you, too."  I hand the phone to Orli and lean back against the bed next to him.

"Hey, kid . . . thanks . . . yeah, me too.  I can't tell you how happy I am to be with your dad again . . . well, I'll be in L.A. for January and some of March, so you'll see me a lot . . . don't worry, I haven't forgotten about that . . . how's school?  How's your mum? . . . okay . . . I missed you too, Henry . . . sure . . . okay . . . I'll talk to you soon . . . bye."  Orli hangs up the phone and grins.  "I adore him."

"He feels the same way about you."  I kiss Orli's head and ruffle his hair.  "Did I tell you that his hair is green now?"

Orli laughs.  "What happened to red?"

"It hasn't been red for a while.  He tried black over the summer, which actually looked pretty cool, at least in my humble opinion.  Anyway, we should start getting ready.  I'm going to take a shower."

"Can I join you?" he asks hopefully.

"If you do, we'll never get out of here."

"Spoilsport."

"Trust me," I assure him, "there'll be plenty of time to play later."

*****

"I can't believe you're wearing that shirt."

"What?" Orli asks indignantly.  "It's a perfectly good shirt."

"Orli, it has *ruffles*.  And that's not even a tie you're wearing, it's like . . . some kind of mutant half-tie."

"Laugh all you want, Vig.  I happen to be at the forefront of international style."

"Then God help us all," I mutter as we walk out of the room."

"What was that?"

"Nothing, nothing."

"Good evening, gentlemen," John says in his magisterial voice as he stands near the elevator.  "Orlando, what on earth are you wearing?"

"See?" I smirk at my boyfriend.

"Oh both of you, just be quiet," he huffs.

John laughs loudly.  "And let me extend my congratulations to you both.  I knew you would come around sooner or later."

"God, word travels fast around here," Orli says, shaking his head.

"Actually, no one needed to tell me.  I'm in the room next to yours."

"Oh . . . sorry."  Orli turns about eighteen shades of red.  "I hope you're not mad."

"No, I'm not mad, just amused.  And a bit impressed with your lung power."  John winks and Orli blushes some more.

*****

"Boys!  You made it!"  Pete greets us warmly upon our arrival and we smile gratefully at our director.  "And from what I've heard, congratulations are in order.  It was about time."

"Well this might sound weird," I laugh, "but thank you for locking us in Sean's hotel room last night.  We needed a swift kick in the ass to get going again."

"I'm happy I could provide that kick," he says.  "And Orli, is that shirt an exercise in surrealist art?"

"This coming from a man who wears the same tee-shirt and shorts combination every day?" Orli asks with a grin.  "But to echo Viggo's comment, thank you for what you did last night."

"It was my pleasure.  However, can I make one request?"

"Sure."

"Burn the shirt."

*****

"This is amazing," Orli says in an awed voice as we take our seats next to each other inside the theater.  "Can you believe this?"

"Not really," I admit.  "I've been to premieres before, but this is incredible.  And," I say, lowering my voice a bit, "I've got the most beautiful man in the world next to me."

"Aw, thanks Viggo," Dom laughs from his place sitting on my other side.  "I didn't know you felt that way about me."

"I don't," I inform him with a grin.  "I was talking about elf boy."

"God, that nickname's gonna stick forever, isn't it?" Orli groans.

"Yeah, and don't pretend you don't love it," Lij laughs from Orli's other side.

"Viggo," Dom says in a hushed voice, "Lij and I have your back in case you want to hold hands with Orli.  No one will notice."

"Thanks," I tell him, realizing that holding hands with my elf sounds like a pretty good idea.

As the lights dim and a hush comes over the theater, I take Orli's hand in mine and lace our fingers together.  He turns and gives me a smile, squeezing my hand like he never wants to let it go.  And that's fine with me.
