Eye Of The Kyi'Tyoi'Quotl

Once apon a time, I wrote a rather promising start to a Sci Fi novel, called Archangel, after the ship, set in the same universe as Blood Magic, but deep in space. And there was a prison planet that dyed the irises of their inmates pure black, which looks bloody weird when you try to draw it, and various species, including a tauric, seven armed, five legged, three tailed, billed marsupial with tattoed eyeballs, a pierced dewlap and an unpronouncable name. It was fun.

But one of the most notable things was that the only space ship anyone who was anyone would fly was made by a species called the Kyi'Tyoi'Quotl, who were a kind of feathered, flying dinosaur. They were wonderful things, amazingly responsive, very strong and fast, but could only be flown by cyborg pilots who were 'plugged in' to the central computer and flew it by impluse. In order to become a pilot, you had to have the implants done, legally or illicitly, which was expensive (Especially if it was legal) and painful (Especially if it was illicit). But it was cool to paint. Acrylics, which I suck at using, yes.
