My originals. Few and far between, yes, but occasionally I'm moved to get out them olde-fashioned canvases and slap paint down. Although a lot of what's here is fairly unimaginative and/or only done after long serieses of similar looking sketches and ink drawings, thats because I'm a poor student and can't afford to mess around with new techniques on expensive canvases. I've a big piece of cardboard to paint on, if you prefer. And I'm trying to get my hands on some illustration board or suchlike, so I can roll off a couple of watercolours. Watercolours don't take three days to complete.

And, unfortunately, these babies don't get individual pages. The ones I really like will get their own page in whichever is the current gallery at the time, but if you're looking here, you're looking for something to buy.

Yes, everything on this page is for sale. Except the text, of course. And the title JPG. And I'd object if you took my painting stand, which appears in more than one piccy. Maybe it's safer to say all the paintings on this page are for sale. No prices, because I'm yet to work out what I ought to be charging for these dealies, but if you find out the price of the appropriately sized canvas and then add about the price of a decent sized tube of whichever kind of paint and the price of a paintbrush, then you've got about what the materials probably cost me. And yes, I will insist on more for my oils than I do for my acrylics, because oils take up space in my house for six months drying. And yes, oh yes, you're paying for postage, my friend.

The key: Measurements are done graphically (Thats MATHS graphically, in other words width, then height. I don't know if this is the standard, but I was raised as a child of the sciences and I'm gonna stick with what I know). All paints are lead free and non-toxic (I'm assuming you won't try eating my paintings, but just so ya know, because some people consider this very important). Canvasses are stretched on wooden frames. Most (Not all) paintings are signed JAW bottom left hand corner and dated day (two digit), month (one or two digit) and year (two digit) bottom right hand corner. This date is usually the day finished, although in rare cases (Particularly small pieces with painted, but low-detail, backgrounds) it may be the day started. Date avaliable for sale applies mainly to oils, which require six months drying time from finished date. All paintings are unframed.

Unnamed
Size: 9 1/2" x 5"
Oils
Signed and dated (06.6.04)
Avaliable for sale: December 2004 (Christmas present, anyone?)
Other details: There's a lot of shine on these two pictures, partly because oil paint is very shiny, and partly because the blue paint on the main body, mainly in the shadows, is layered on fairly heavily with lots of bumps and lumps to create a nice dragonskin texture. The dark smudge on the bottom right corner is the date. This picture would probably look best framed, but I, unfortunately, are completely incapable of framing anything, having not the skills nor the materials. I'm not expecting a lot for this baby, and most likely it won't be sold and will end up on my mantlepiece (Again), but I thought I'd stick it up here just in case.
