Eye Of The Incubbus

Now, I've no illusions about my ability with acrylics, but I'm fairly pleased with the way this came out. I quite like Incubbi and Sucubbi, or at least, the way I draw them, in their natural forms. In fact, I like drawing any kind of devil... they have to be, at the same time, both very scary and very beautiful. In Blood Magic, Incubbi and Sucubbi are the Fallen Angels and new Lords of Hel, so naturally, they're not bad looking... in their natural forms, they look much like really, really gorgeous humans, but from about the elbow down, the knee down, across their backs where their wings anchor, down their spines around the base of their tails, and around their eyes, is like... blood red and purple, wrinkled, beaded, scabbed... dinosaur skin is the closest texture I can think of. It's not scaly, but it's uber unpleasant looking. That, and the horns, and the fact that they don't have tips to their fingers, just long, sharpened spurs of exposed bone, makes them some creepy mothafuckers.

So now you know what I was going for when I painted this, and you can tell whether I succeeded or not. I'd be inclined to say no...
