Cranelord

On the far away island of Japan, in the world of Blood Magic, things are a wee bitty complicated. Everything's much as it was in our world prior to Western interference, but unlike many places, this lack of technology is a conscious choice, not something they can't help. Of course, the ones who made that choice made it for the 'general good of the populace', and casually cover up the fact that they have powerful microproccessors and advanced laboratories hidden deep inside their manors. These people are, of course, the Yakusa.

In this Japan, the Yakusa have much more power than they ever did in this world (As far as we know...). They practically run the country. And one of the reasons they are so feared is that Japan is one of the few places in the world where you get a naturally high concentration of Demons (The others being either mostly uninhabited or populated by very primitive peoples), especially the symbiotic variety. Thus born are the Yakusa Demonblades, katana-weilding gang members with fast-as-sound reflexes, unearthly strength, and the ability to turn into huge, rabid creatures at odd moments. They don't usually live that long, but the oldest and most powerful of these rise to high positions in the Yakusa hierarchy, taking on the feared and covetted title of Demonlord (Even if they're girls).

This scary looking woman, who is vaguely remminiscint of Oren Ishii, is the Demonlord of Crane House, whose demon families are, surprisingly enough, cranes. The only thing I don't like about this is the fan, and her skin tone, which is too brown and looks murky. The folds in the kimono, however, are great, probably because I used a photo-reference (Which was, surprise surprise, Oren Ishii), and this is coloured pencil, despite what everyone else thinks.
