The K.S.A.

   The Kuwaiti Students Association of Penn State was established in 2001 to promote cooperation between its members and the members of the Penn State community, as well as to expose the Penn State community to the Kuwaiti culture. The Association is a social, cultural, democratic, independent, and non-profit organization that is proud to represent more than 30 members. The membership body consists of more than Kuwaitis; there are students from Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE who are also a part of the Association. The Kuwaiti Students Association is headed by an executive committee of six officers, with elections being held every September.

 

Penn State

    The Pennsylvania State University is one of America's most esteemed and respected educational institutions. Beginning in 1855 as a small school of agriculture, Penn State is now compromised of 24 campuses with more than 80,000 students and almost 8,000 full- and part-time faculty members1. The University Park campus, located in Center Country, Pennsylvania (the town of State College), is the main campus and the administrative hub of the university. Penn State ranks highly compared to other colleges, winning many awards and excellent ratings. It was ranked 16th for the best undergraduate engineering programs in the nation2, and is in the top 20 for many other categories (see more rankings).
