Spotlight:Project Greenlight season 3
Bravo has now entered it's third season of the filmmaker series "Project Greenlight". The series which was the brainchild of actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck was created to give one lucky person a chance to have their script made into a feature film. What peeks my interest about this season you ask? Well this season, they're doing a horror film entitled "Feast". Which deals with patrons of a bar being holed up inside with otherwordly nasties. Wes Craven is also a part of this season as Executive Producer on the film.
Were only 3 episodes in and already things have gotten extremely interesting as we've watched the making of this film slowly unfold and they haven't even stepped onto the set yet.The writers of the script, who are getting their film made should be the story of this season. But rather, the story of this season is first time director John Gulager.Gulager was chosen out of 3 directors to direct "Feast", and boy has he certainly rubbed alot of people the wrong way early on. The casting director,a few of the executive producers, even some of the Dimension big wigs. Hes shown a lack of ability to take charge which as a director is basically your top job duty, and of course constant attempts to wave the nepotism wand haven't helped either.
(John Gulager, director of "Feast")
To say that watching this season up until the very end will be interesting is an understatement. Things are already interesting. The only direction to go from here is EXTREMELY INTERESTING."Feast" at the moment is in post-production and could be released this spring. The question is, was Gulager still apart of the film at the end? You and me both will just have to watch to find out. "Project Greenlight" airs at 10 pm/9 pm central on Thursday nights on Bravo.
