Mr HorRoR's 2 cents on FOX: Are they becoming the new enemy of Horror Movie Fans?
While their remake of "The Hills Have Eyes" was a solid film, FOX has made some very questionable moves with horror movies recently. Announcing a total redo of "The Fly", their upcoming remake of "The Omen", which while I haven't seen it yet, still remaking "The Omen" is just wrong. And now they're making "28 Weeks Later" more "kid friendly" by straying away from the hardcore "R" rating of it's predecessor. One could say that FOX is or is close to becoming the new target of criticism and anger from horror movie fans.

However...the company has done some good things as far as horror movie are concerned, when you look back in the moderately recent past. These are the people who gave us the psychotic inbreds vs lost city kids horror romp "Wrong Turn" in 2003, and before that in 2001, the horror/thriller starring Paul Walker, LeeLee Sobiesky, and Steve Zahn called "Joyride". So I digress, and cut FOX a little slack for now. However, my 2 cents on the subject is...with these latest bonehead decisions they certainly are pushing their luck with this horror film fan.
