This site was created in November, 2003 (and updated every so often), a few years after I finally came to the realization that whatever method I was using in relationships was failing miserably. I've been recalling and writing down everything I could remember about my relationships for my entire life. I took an honest inventory of everything I'd been doing that worked and didn't work. I threw everything that didn't work out the window, and wrote the rest here. Slowly but surely, a pattern began to emerge. The result is what you see on these pages.

I am an ordinary guy. I didn't major in psychology. I have no formal training in relationships or counseling. I work a 9 to 5 job in an unrelated field. Most, if not all of what I write comes from my own experiences.

In other words, I am probably just like you. Except I don't sit around anymore, wondering why my relationships go wrong despite doing what I believe to be the right thing.

With this advice, as with life, there are no guarantees. Your mileage may vary. People are different, and you may not always experience optimal results.

After I had written this, I noticed that there were some sites espousing similar philosophies around the Web. This tells me that there are other guys out there who have come to the same conclusions that I have. Whereas those sites might go into more detail, the information here is only presented as a starting point...a set of facts to make guys aware that there IS another way. How far you go with it is up to you. Please, PLEASE, share your experiences and knowledge on the message board for other guys to see. I try to respond when I can, but I only check this page once every couple of months. Not only does it do my heart good to see that my advice is helping someone, but sharing your experiences can help others out as well.

Most of you will notice that this page is very rudimentary and set up on free webspace. My objective in doing this was to provide information as cheaply and efficiently to you as possible. As if it had to be said, I make no money from this endeavor (yes, you CAN still get stuff for free!). I wrote all the content over a period of a few months (after years of exhausting research) but I actually created the page in an afternoon.

The pages are designed to be very compact for quick loading on any kind of connection, readable on mobile devices, and with no fancy graphics involved. Ads which might appear on these pages, if any, can easily be blocked using the Adblock extension available for Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

If you can't get used to the idea of reading text without seizure-inducing blinking graphics all around, then this place isn't for you. Go checkout Lifetime's webpage, where you can read a lot of nice things about how to be sensitive, how to get in touch with your feminine side and so forth, all surrounded by flashing ads for Massengil and Playtex.
