9.28.2002

It has been a hell of a hectic week.  Sorry for the lack of updates n' stuff.

This week in roster moves:

Spankingly Delicious has FINALLY released freeloader Trung. Canidate $10.  You mean he bid on a guy!!!  Yes.  Ben Bid.  Ben got Moe. Williams for 3 bucks.

The Horny Priests sign Kevin Dyson for 2 bucks.

Silent But Deadly drop Patrick Ramsey ($2) and sign Josh Reed for 2 bucks.

The Polymorphic Pacifists release L. Coles ($3) and Derrick Alexander ($1) then sign Lamar Gordon for 5 bucks and Antonio Freeman for 5 bucks.

Obligatory Nude Scene drops Cleveland D ($1) and sign Phil Dawson for a buck.

The Flying Monkees drop Jake the Sanke Plummer ($3) and pick up Troy Hambrick for a buck.

There are two trends to watch this week.  Will The Horny Priests give up 100 points to another opponent this week? And will The Mossters finally get a stinkin' point from their TE?

Obligatory Nude Scene will try and keep up in the division as they face The Horny Priests who have sucked this year.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force will try and extend the Flying Monkees' loosing streak to 4 in the only non-conference game of the week.

I Try When I Want To will try not to let The Polymorphic Pacifists run away with the conference.

The Showstoppa's face Silent But Deadly in a rather boring game.  Maybe Neil is mad at Jason for rejecting trade after trade.  Yes, that will be the lame drawing card for this game.

In a very sad game of the week, The Mossters take on Spankingly Delicious for the division lead.  Yup.  Ben is in a game of the week.

9.24.2002

The scores are in after and eventful monday night.

Silent But Deadly improves to 2-1 by obliterating the now 0-3 Flying Monkees by a score of 107-43.

The Showstoppa's 2-1 also improve to 2-1 after throttling 1-2 I Try When I Want To by a score of 109-50.  Its a good thing Brian's team tried against Obligatory Nude Scene in week one or they'd really suck.

In the only nonconference game of the week, The Polymorphic Pacifists remain undefeated at 3-0 by dismantling the 0-3 Horny Priests 129-68.  Maybe its scheduling, maybe its bad luck, but Jasons team has allowed the most points in the league.  He has played the heighest scoring team 2 of 3 weeks, and in the week he didn't play the heighest scoring team, the team he did play got 122 points.  He has gotten screwed one way or another.

The Mossters improve to 2-1 and into 3 way share for the eastern conference lead by defeating Aqua Teen Hunger Force 1-2 by a score of 89-42.  On a side note, The Mossters have not scored a point at their TE spot.  Ken Dilger didn't score in either of the first 2 weeks, and after getting desperate and trading for Shannon Sharpe, Sharpe laid an egg in week 3.  That is amusing.

In the game of the week, Obligatory Nude Scene 2-1 spanked Spankingly Delicious 2-1 by a score of 83-54.  By beating Ben, Derrick's team creates a huge logjam atop the eastern conference.  Derrick, however, holds the head to head tie break over Todd and Ben.

9.21.2002

Spankingly Delicious were not allowed to release unwanted player Trung Canidate ($10).  Since they didn't bid on any players because the owner is dumb, it would have put them below the roster limit.

There have been some front office moves.

The Mossters have announced that, due to reasons detrimental to the team, Marketing guru Jennifer Lopez has been let go. In to replace her is Shakira.  According to field research, the organization determined that Shakira is much more popular among the demographic of men 13 - 78.  79 and higher were experiencing blood pressure problems.

Obligatory Nude Scene has been displeased with its tackling, so All Else coach, Al Newman has pressured GM Derrick into finding a new Tackling Dummy.  This prompted the release of Anna Nichole Smith and the sudden signing of former Mossters Marketing Exec. Jennifer Lopez to fill the vacant role.  In other news, Tara Ried was signed today to be the assistant personal secretary of GM Derrick.  Derrick then hired Anna Kournikova to be his Personal Seceretary.  The Play by play voice of Obligatory Nude Scene has been selected finally, and Melissa Stark the beautiful blonde from Monday Night Football will be tackling this important job.  Doing color comentary with her shall be Lisa Guerrero, the yummy woman who does the Sports Updates on Fox Sports Net.  This could solidify the front office of Obligatory Nude Scene as The Hottest!

9.20.2002

There has been a trade announced.

The Mossters, who still haven't gotten a point by a TE finally traded for one.  The Mossters sent WR Jimmy Smith and his $15 dollar salary packing, giving him to Obligatory Nude Scene for TE Shannon Sharpe $5.  Obligatory Nude scene, in order for the money to work, released WR Johnnie Morton $8, and QB Joey Harrington $3.  After the trade, The Mossters are left with $12 in cap room while Obligatory Nude Scene has $1.

On the free agent market..

Silent But Deadly has agreed to terms with K Gary Anderson, the contract is reportedly $1.

The Polymorphic Pacifists sign RB William Green for $5, and WR Donald Driver for $6.  They are still loaded with cash.

The Mossters release TE Ken Dilger ($1) and WR Kevin Dyson ($1).  With the available cap room, Todd signs RB Jarome Bettis ($6) and RB Mike Anderson ($3).  Hopefully these stiffs will produce.

The Horny Priests drop RB Olandis Gary ($2), and WR's Peter Warrick and Dez White both ($1).  He makes no signings with the available room.

Spankingly Delicious waive RB Trung Canidate ($10).  And the crowd rejoiced.

Finally, Obligatory Nude Scene signs TE Randy McMichael for $1.

For future reference, there is a two week waiver freeze after releasing a player.
Example:  Ben released T. Canidate.  He can't resign him next week.  He must wait till the week there after.  This makes it so teams can't cut costs on expensive players.

9.17.2002

The game of the week turned out to be The Showstoppa's who needed 33 points Monday to force a tie over Spankingly Delicious.  They got 32 as they were defeated 82 - 81.

The Polymorphic Pacifists didn't get the production they had last week but still got the job done in defeating the Flying Monkees 84 - 76.

Obligatory Nude Scene got a big day from the former Mosster, Ricky Williams, who propelled Derricks team to a 93 - 70 victory over The Mossters.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force scored the most points this week as the destroyed the Horny Priests 106 - 82.  This is the second straight week Jason played a team that got over 100 points.

Lead by a 26 point defensive effort, Silent But Deadly beat up on I Try When I Want To, who must not have been in the mood, 103 - 81.

9.16.2002

It was a week dominated by defense.  Tampa Bay, not started scored 29 points.  San Diego who was started scored 26 points.. what?!?

Anyway, there aren't any close games left this week, but here is what we've got.

Obligatory Nude Scene is embroiled in the closest game again, one week after loosing by one point.  The Mossters are down to the Nude Scene 63 - 83.  Steven Davis needs to score 21 more points than the Philly D for Todd to win the game.

For the second straight week, The Horny Priests get slobber knocked as the heighest scoring team this week went off on them.  The Aqua Teen Hunger Force is up 106 - 69.  The good news is that Jason still has a shot as he still has David Akers to go tomorrow.  D. Akers needs to score 38 points for The Horny Priests to win the game.

The suprise team this year, Spankingly Delicious who have T. Canidate for $10, is up again this week 82 - 49 on The Showstoppa's who need D. McNabb and C. Lewis to score 34 points to win.

We also have 2 finals today.

On the strenght of their defense that scored 26 points, Silent But Deadly improves to (1-1) by taking down I Try When I Want To who dropped to (1-1) as well in the 103 - 81 defeat.

In a close game, The Polymorphic Pacifists moved to (2-0) by defeating a division foe, The Flying Monkees who dropped to (0-2).  Mike Hollis scored 15 points for Scott as he went on to the 84 - 76 win.

Philadelphia and Washington play tomorrow.

The comissioners office has finally solved its technical problems so the site is FULLY updated.  Rankings, line-ups, stats.

This weeks games:

Obligatory Nude Scene tries to get back on track vs. the highly explosive team The Mossters in a division matchup.

The Horny Priests try to score more vs.the equally inept Aqua Teen Hunger Force who will play their 2 straight non conference game..

Spankingly Delicious take on The Showstoppa's in a game of unbeatens.

I Try When I Want To will hopefully try vs. Silent But Deadly who is looking for their offense to try.

Polymorphic Pasafists will take on The Flying Monkees in a game of the heighest scoring team vs. the lowest scoring team.

9.13.2002

There were some suprises this week in moves that happened, and didn't happen.

Spankingly Delicious DIDN'T drop Trung Canidate who is eating $10.  Umm.. okay.
The Flying Monkees used their $17 of cap space - on nothing.

However, in moves that did happen:

The Polymorphic Pacifists drop J. Bettis ($16) and Q. Carter ($1) after unsuccesful debuts in week one.  However, this move does little for him because he has been out bid in everything.

The Mossters drop W. Green ($15) and Washington D ($5) to free up the cap room to sign Eric Moulds for $17, and Lamar Smith for $2.

The Showstoppa's drop D. Sloan ($1) and pick up J. White ($1)
