Stand Small
By Gabe Sauers
sometimes i dont wanna get up in the morning its hard to keep on going
but i think of what ive got to live for friends and family and my minds
serenity little man little man
youve got to keep on going cuz you march where others fall i once tried
to take my own life put a gun to my head but couldnt pull the trigger i
used to have a house but
i couldnt pay the bills spent my money gettin jacked up on pills ive
seen so many things in my life i wish i hadnt seen if i could id set
the clock back and take a different
route little man little man youve got to keep on going cuz you march
where ohters fall i saw a man who walks all around this town wears a
sheet that he spreads on the
ground calls it his bed tells me hed give most anything for a place to
rest his weary head its sites like these that make us wanna help the
world but when did the world
ever help us i think to myself little man little man youve got to keep
on going cuz you march where others fall sometimes i get bored so i
head on down to the mall a
place that holds some memories both good and bad for me like an old man
who had a heart attack fell down and didnt come back a little girl who
lost her family was
given a ride by the nice tall man said he knew where she lived and he
could take her there took her to his house and left her body in the
basement little man little man
youve got to keep on going cuz you march where others fall
