THE GOOD NEWS AND THE BAD NEWS

21July2004 Issue No 5

Hello everybody, and welcome to issue No 5 of "The Good News and The Bad News". Well, after the frantic month of June it seems that things are starting to settle down a bit. As far as I can see we have only lost one site since my last newsletter (The Global Traffic Exchange). It was not among my recommended sites as it was a 2% subscription site and I have already stated in my earlier editions I will no longer promote those sites. The other thing that might be worrying a lot of people is the downtime being experienced by Autosurf4profit. Let me allay your fears, Tammy is changing servers, as she noted on the front page of her site. Unfortunately it happened to her suddenly and she didn't get a chance to notify her members and has asked Ricky at funbiz to get her message out. Carecash forum and myself will also help. She has updated her Web Journal and you can see that at http://tammyh2.bravejournal.com/
I haven't joined any new programs this week, have been paid by http://www.aussieearners.com/?ref=2163, and http://www.jdipromotions.com/?ref=1037, have taken advantage of Todd's great matrix special, for $75 I got 3 spots in the matrix, $60 upgrade in http://www.xsclicks.net/?ref=241 and a $60 upgrade in http://www.cash2click.com/?ref=1231. What a deal!! If you missed that, you missed out on a beauty. I have also compounded some of my earnings in XSClicks, and further upgraded this morning in http://www.jdipromotions.com/?ref=1037, to take advantage of his paypal special.

I've had quite a few emails this week from people who are new to the Autosurf business, with requests for guidance in which programs to invest in, so this week I am adding a new section called:-

TIPS AND STRATEGIES

1. Find out as much as you can about a program before investing any money into it. You can do this by subscribing to my newsletter, and visiting the following information sites:- http://www.funbiznow.com/article/autosurf-news.html , http://www.carecash.net/forum/ and http://www.news-flash.biz. You can also find out about who owns a site by going to http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/whois/index.jhtml , typing in the domain name and doing a search on it. DO NOT JOIN any programs that are blacklisted here or in any other forum. Remember there is risk involved with all programs but you can minimize your risk by only investing in programs that are well respected by myself and other forums and forum members. Visit these sites often and keep up to date with what is happening.
2. Have a plan. List all of your programs on a spreadsheet, with the percentage rates, payout amounts etc., and plan ahead for about 12 months. Decide in advance which programs you are going to upgrade in and when. Obviously you need to be flexible as there will be some opportunities to get extra upgrade dollars, and some programs will fall over.
3. Don't fall for the trap of believing you can make any money out of this system without putting any in. If you believe you can make money by just compounding the free $10 they may give you, you are wrong. It will take you a minimum of 3 months to reach payout, and I've heard so many stories of people just about to reach payout and the program falls over. It's happened to me too. Invest as much as you can as soon as you can and start getting payouts in the first month. Decide before you start how much per week/month you can afford to invest (and possibly lose) and stick to that. In my own case I invest $100 per month of my own money, and reinvest all my earnings. I have never yet lost the whole $100. I have been doing this for about 9 months now, and although I am not yet rich I am well on the way. When I started I didn't have an Autosurf Info Page I could refer to, so I lost some money in some programs, but I am now making a profit each month and my earnings are increasing dramatically each month.
4. Don't invest all your money into the one program, in other words spread your investments. For example if you had $100 to invest you could put it all into one program and make $30 per month, but if that program falls over you would lose all of your $100. If you put, say $20 into 5 programs, you could still make $30 a month, but if one falls over you only lose $20. If you have been in that program for a while and it falls over you may not even lose anything.
5. Try and invest enough money into a program so that you will reach payout in the first or second month. (Usually $20 or $30). When you reach payout take the cash and re-invest it into another program. After a while you will have your favourite sites and can increase your member level in them, bearing in mind that the more you invest the more you earn, but conversely the more you lose if they fall over. I usually request all my payouts at the end of the month and then see how much money I have and decide where to re-invest it. There will always be some special deals on upgrades and you cannot take advantage of them if you compound, only if you put real cash in. Occasionally I compound, but before I do I make sure that I will still make payout that month.
6. You can make money in these programs without referrals, but if you get some referral commissions, it will make you earnings grow a bit quicker. I don't rely on referrals for my income but treat anything I get as an unexpected bonus. To get referrals you can advertise your sites for free while surfing for cash. Don't advertise a program on the same program, you will only be wasting your time as the only people who will see it are already members of that program. Does that make sense?? I'll try again. Don't advertise Stable Surfing on the Stable surfing program. Advertise all your other programs on Stable Surfing and then advertise Stable surfing on all your other programs. Now does it make sense?? I hope so. If you wish you can advertise my website on all your programs with your own referral links. If you are interested in doing this send me an email and I will set it up for you.
I think I've just about covered everything, if you have any further questions don't forget you can email me at any time. If you are just starting out I would recommend the first five of my top ten as really good sites to start with. If you think you can handle more join the whole ten.

THIS WEEKS TOP TEN

Not too much change this week, Autosurf4profit has dropped out of the top ten due to excessive downtime, but when it comes back will probably go straight back into the top ten. Surfnfriendz is another one that has dropped out, but we're all hoping it will survive as it has always been one of the good ones. Stable surfing, Surf4investments, XSClicks and Cash2click are the stand out performers this week, JDIPromotions is still one of my favourites and I have upgraded there again this morning. Aussie and Cashitz are still quietly going about there business of making money for us, http://www.studiotraffic.com/index.php?refid=10402 you all know about as one of the best sites on the net and the 2 newcomers are looking very promising.

STAY AWAY FROM THE FOLLOWING SITES

50-50 Autosurf, Autocashits, Cash4trafficdoubler, Cashautosurf, Cashcrazyhitz, Cashits4u, Cashrotage, Cash Visitors, Comegold, Dutchcash4traffic, LottoNsurf, Magicearn, Mypaytoclick, PBoot, Sharedpayhits, SurfandDiamonds, Surfandmillions, Traffictotheextreme, Traffic5surf and TSTCare
I had a response to my last newsletter in the Carecash forum about Sharedpayhits. Someone suggested I should not lump him in with the obvious scams, and I tended to agree with her. However, this week I'm not so sure. I have noticed on the front page of his site that his number of members has increased. Does this mean that he is accepting new members? I also noticed his amount paid has not changed, so he hasn't paid any of the arrears. I emailed Jonathan about this but he has not bothered to reply. I would be interested to know if anyone has ever been paid by this site. I don't think so. I would also like to hear from you Jonathan if you are reading this.

THIS WEEKS SPECIALS.

Not too much to report on the specials front this week, JDI promotions has an upgrade special for paypal upgrades. Keep an eye out for Cash2click Super Surfing Sunday when he sets the timer to 10 seconds and usually has a special deal as well. Stable Surfing has launched his "Double your income" plan, which looks really great but I'm still not sure about PPRs. If anyone has ever received any payments from PPR could you please let me know. The concept sounds great for setting up a continuous income for many years to come, and at $10 a month I'll probably take a chance on it. I received an email from one of my subscribers who has started an autosurf site and wished me to advise everybody of some specials he is running. His name is Arthur Stevens and his site is http://www.trafficexcelerator.net. I have not joined his site so cannot make any recommendations. He is running a raffle with a prize of $50 cash for anyone who upgrades between now and the end of July and is also giving bonuses of between 10% and 25% for upgrades from $10 to $100.

Well, I think that's about it for this week. I hope you have enjoyed reading this issue and have got something out of it. Don't forget to keep emailing me with your comments and suggestions at djcannard@pacific.net.au and any news that you may be aware of. If you wish to subscribe to future issues you can also email me at the same addy. Thanks for your support, see you next time and happy surfing,
David.
