HIGHLANDER
(HIGHLANDER) Sweet Conflict: The Beginning *WIP* (+ it's sequels) by Jessica L. Blackstone: I think the title pretty much says it all. There's conflict between Methos and Duncan that neither can quite grasp.
R: The sex was phenomenal. It was different every time, and it's getting really hard to find that kind of variety out there nowadays. I DO like the conflict, though. I think that if I ever knew what the heck was REALLY going on between those two, I'd be irritated the whole time I was reading this and I would be yelling at the screen for them to get on with it. Duncan/Methos *****

(HIGHLANDER) Matter and Antimatter by Killashandra: (June 25, 2007) There is no meant to be, just the way things end up....
R: I think that this is the most reasonable way that I've seen Methos and Duncan get together. Two Thumbs Up! Duncan/Methos *****

(HIGHLANDER) Swords at Sunset: The Duke's Reward by The Lady of Shalott: (Dec. 25, 2008) It's a historical piece where Duncan is a young pre-immortal, and Methos, the queen's favorite. Methos/Duncan *****

(HIGHLANDER) Misconceptions by Diana Williams: (LOOONG time ago) ‘The shared Double Quickening in "Revelations" has an unexpected side effect, one that changes the lives of Methos and Duncan MacLeod.’
R: I DON’T KNOW HOW I FORGOT TO LIST THIS >_<“ This has to be one of the top 2 Mpregs written, probably THE best. I know I fluctuate, but there you are. Duncan/Methos MPREG *****+

LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD
(LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) A Year in the Life by Miss Priss: (Oct. 1, 2008) Matt invites John out for a drink. John/Matt ****1/2

(LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) The Rescue of Matthew Farrell by Elayna: (Oct. 2, 2008) John rescues Matt from a cult headed by Thomas Gabriel. SMEX!!! John/Matt ****

(LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) On the Road…to Recuperation (plus all of its sequels which are linked at the end of the stories) by Elayna: (Jan. 6, 2009) Matt thinks John deserves a reward. *****

(LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) That Guy by Utopian Trunks: (September 12, 2008) Matt has to stay with John after the Fire Sale.
R: o’course, you know that there’s going to be sexing, but this is a story that eases you in to the relationship between John and Matt becoming something more. The characterizations in this story are fabulous. *****
Sequel: His Space
Sequel: Point B
Sequel: Taking Names
Sequel: Poster Boy

THE CSIs
(CSI:NY) You Got Me What? by 14thDomino: This story was incredibly intense. I think that's all that I can say until my blood travels back north. Don/Danny ***

(CSI:NY) Speak Now, Or Forever Hold Your Peace by 14thDomino: Don's getting married, and neither Danny nor Don are happy about it. I nearly peed myself this was so funny. Danny and Don all the way! ***

(CSI:NY) Look Away by geekwriter: It didn't count, what he'd done before.
R: OMFG! It is freakin' awesome! Woo! Woo! Danny/Flack ***

(CSI:MIAMI) White Christmas by B.J. Jones: (BIMTL) Speed takes Eric, the man he loves, to a place that means a lot to him. Eric is too miserable to even realize the importance of the location. ****

NCIS
(WITHOUT A TRACE/THE SENTINEL/NCIS) Missing by Neichan: (May 19, 2007) Someone is kidnapping Guides! Jim/Blair/Simon/Rafe, DiNozzo/Gibbs, and more. *****+ (mostly because of the sex scene:) )

(NCIS) Angels and Heroes by Kikkimax: (August 17, 2008) A case that Tony solved as a rookie cop years ago, comes back to haunt him now.
R: Wonderfully written! GEN *****

Sequel: Legends and Myths

(NCIS/**SURPRISE) Stardust by Kikkimax: (August 22, 2008) The team comes across a scene with three charred bodies, and a man who can't remember.
R: I want to keep the fandom secret, but it IS a CROSSOVER. *****+

MISCELLANEOUS MISCELLANEOUS
(TROY) Take Me Home by Red Autumn: Paris is taken prisoner by Achilles after a series of unfortunate events that I'm not quite sure he didn't bring upon himself.
R: It's very powerful. Especially near the end. It made me cry and then just stare off into space wondering about life. I guess you could say that I was stunned. This is by far my favorite Troy story. Achilles/Paris *****+

(STAR WARS) The Irishman's Memorial by Oncidium: Whoa...I had tears in my eyes as I was reading this. I kind of had the idea in my head that this might be a death fic from the title, but I had totally forgotten about that when I got caught up in the story that was Odil and Kaelan. Damn, just thinking about it is making my eyes water and my throat clench again. THEME: Robin Thicke (The Evolution of Robin Thicke)- Lost Without You + My Angel Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan *****+

(DRACULA) Child of the Night by Scribe: Bram Stoker's Dracula told in a way only Scribe can tell it.
R: I can't say how much I adore this story. I was riveted to it for about 5 days straight. I couldn't look away. I think that this is my favorite story with Keanu Reeves in it. I became slightly obsessed with him after this. Dracula/Nicolae *****+

(ZETSUAI BRONZE) Close Your Eyes by Juxian Tang: Ghostly touches.
R: I really like this story, even though I only have a very vague idea of who the characters are. ***

(NIP/TUCK) Through the Fire by Candy Apple: (BIMTL) After the attack by the Carver on Christian, and Sean's disintegrating marriage, both men try to piece their lives together. The Carver has other ideas. (This was written before the identity of the Carver was revealed) Sean/Christian *****+

(LAW & ORDER: SVU/OZ) Luck of the Draw (part 1 and part 2) by Kikkimax: (August 20, 2008) Elliot goes undercover in Em City.
R: I HIGHLY recommend this. Even if you've never seen an episode in your life, you'll enjoy this with minimal background info on the characters of Oz. Fr rls. Tobias/Chris, and another surprise pairing. *****+

(FINAL FANTASY VIII) To this One Night by Sukunami: (WBIMTL) A beautiful dancer catches Prince Seifer's eye. He will do anything to have him.
R: I've printed this story and read it countless times. Seifer/Squall
MPREG *****+

(THE SENTINEL/MILLENIUM) Understand Me by Saraid: (Dec. 26, 2008) There is something wrong with Blair, and it's affecting his job at the university, his job at Major Crimes, and his relationship with Jim. ****

(BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN) Zero to the Bone by Mad Lori: "Surgeon Jack Twist is a wanted man after witnessing a murder, and reluctant hitman D is blackmailed into killing him. When his conscience doesn't allow him to carry out the hit, Jack and D become unlikely allies on the run from the law and the lawless." Ennis/Jack *****

(THE DARK KNIGHT) Jim Gordon’s Life As A Series of Clichés by gaudy_night: (Mar. 18, 2009) Commissioner Jim Gordon gets sold for ten thousand dollars (for charity, of course) at the bachelor auction. Yet the lady who purchased him never shows up and Jim ends up spending his night with Bruce Wayne (no, not spend the night that way; get your minds out of the gutter). Little does Jim know that his previous night's excursion resembles the beginning of a romantic comedy. (by meishali) Bruce Wayne/Jim Gordon
R: Don’t fear! There IS sex in this story, though a majority stays PG-13 and below. Grade: A

(TORCHWOOD) Get Love, Make More, Try to Stay Alive by dsudis: (May 28, 2009) It all starts when everyone else in Torchwood thinks that Ianto might be inhabited by an by an alien species. What happens afterwards takes Ianto through love, death, and time.
R: I wasn’t in the best places to read this story. If you’re like me, a long-time reader of slash, you can get into sort of a funk where nothing holds any appeal, though in other circumstances, the story would be beyond appealing. This story broke through to me even with that obstacle, and I realize what a gem it truly is. Some MPREG. Jack/Ianto Grade: A+

BUFFY/ANGEL
(B/A) Revenge by Jackson: (WWBIMTL) Spike uses Xander to get back at Buffy after she rejects him.
R: I’ve read this story several times, and I can’t stress how much I love it, and the author. S/X *****+

R: This story is highly amusing *****

(B/A) Bent Justice by toobusy2write (Kat B): (August 21, 2009) Spike is an undercover agent sent into prison to bust a corrupt warden, but when he takes on Angel—the convict that runs D Block through strength and fear—in order to prove himself, Spike uncovers more than he bargained for. Angel/Spike, Spike/Others Grade: A
WARNING: Non-supernatural AU, mentions of rape

STARSKY & HUTCH
(S&H) Total Eclipse of the Heart by Flamingo: (Jan. 19, 2009) Things that were already simmering boil over when someone drugs Starsky and Hutch, taping the effects.
R: This story has the honor of taking my Starsky & Hutch cherry. What a way to lose it…. Also, to navigate the site, just keep pressing ‘NEXT’ until you hit the prologue unless you want to read about the background of the making of the zine. Starsky/Hutch Grade: A+

(S&H) Waterfall by Charlotte Frost: (March 25, 2009) Starsky and Hutch know that they love each other, share every aspect of their lives like married couples do. After a series of events brings the boys closer together, they decide to take the plunge and add sex to their relationship. Hutch/Starsky Grade: A

GUNDAM WING
(GW) = Gundam Wing
(GW) Endless Summer by Clever Young Thief: All of the pilots are surfers. It's a truly memorable story where Duo is a famous surfer with a reputation for bringing death to each contest he enters, and Heero is a stoic board-maker with a dark past.
R: There is a lot of thought and detail put into this fic, so it's worth a read just for that, if not anything else. I have to say that this somewhat light-hearted surfer-guy fic, is my favorite GW story of all time (sorry, Kracken! n_n“). There’s just nothing like it. I was obsessed with the Beach Boys for a LONG time after this. THEME SONG: “Fly Me to the Moon” by Utada Hikaru 1x2, 3x4, and 5xR. *****+

(GW) Wildflower by Becca Abbot: It's two years after Endless Waltz and Duo Maxwell is in big trouble. But who should he fear the most? The sadistic vice-lord into whose hands he's fallen or the man's most deadly assassin, Heero Yuy? (Summary by Becca Abbot)
R: This story is so great! I can’t believe that I haven’t read this sooner. I love that Wildflower turned into Wilder. I would have never seen that coming! n_n” 1x2, other parings *****
Sequel: White Rose
Sequel: Promises
Sequel: Reflections
Interlude: The Seduction of Chang WuFei

(GW) Sweet Darkness by Juxian Tang: Quatre is a prisoner in a sick, twisted place and suffers pain and humiliation on daily basis. Will things change with the appearance of his new cellmate - a mysterious young man who is desperate to keep his secrets? (Summary by Juxian Tang)
R: I think that this is by far the best 3x4 story that I have ever read. And WuFei…I don’t think that people give him enough credit for being such a complex character. 3x4, 5x13 ****

(GW) Vae Victis by Juxian Tang: 'The fate of the conquered is always a sad one - and Treize gets to know about it better than many others.' 13xVarious *****+

(GW) Covet by Kat: The first part of this story was a bit shaky, but it all turned out very well in the end. This story was very sensual and erotic in just the right way. I love the little ‘thing’ that was going on in the background between 13x6 while 13x3. Yep, very nice indeed. ***

(GW) The Crossing Paths Arc by Kracken: (18) ‘…Duo felt himself lowered, yet cradled close. Heero had sat down, ignoring his own danger, concerned only for Duo now. "Why do the people I care about keep killing themselves?!" Heero exclaimed in anguish.’
R: I literally had to stop myself and just say “wow” when Heero said this. That was strong. Normally, when people say things like that, it’s funny to me, but this had a huge impact. I freakin’ love Heero in this story! Even though he became a little sappy near the end, I think that it fit him. After all, no one is the perfect soldier. Even if they are, they never manage to be for long. 1x2, 3x4, 5xS, 6x2 *****+

(GW) Te Amo by Akuma: Just when Heero finally allows himself to feel, really feel something, for Duo, Duo falls in love with Noin.
R: Okay, I was still a green-behind-the-ears slash/yaoi reader when I read this, so it’s no longer up to my standard in writing, but it’s my baby, so I’m reccin’ it, and there ain’t nothin’ you can do about it! Nyah. 2x1, 2xNoin, 3x4, others. *****+
WARNING: Sap, OOC, MPREG
Sequel: Ever After

STAR TREK
(ST) Little Shadow by hollycomb: Sulu is Chekov's roommate at the Academy. Sulu is not happy about being saddled with a kid for a roommate, but eventually they become friends. Chekov falls in love with Sulu, and everything falls apart.
R: This made me cry because A certain character reminded me of myself. You hear that, my groupies? Your Lawd and Saviuh is a crybaby. I’m sure there’s a 12-step for that…. Sulu/Chekov Grade: A+

(ST) Desperate by hollycomb (September 19, 2009): Sulu falls victim to alien pheromones. Chekov falls victims to Sulu.
R: Fantastic, leg-crossing sex abounds. Sulu/Chekov Grade: B+
