The American Red Cross Wilderness First Aid Basics is a 16 hour program for those who work, live, or play in remote areas, away from the usual EMS service. The following will benifit from the program: Scouts and Scout Leaders, Hikers and Backpackers, Forest Rangers, Kayakers and Canoers, Rescue and Law Enforcement Personnel. After successfully completing a written exam and a skills evaluation, the student will be issued American Red Cross Certification for the Wilderness First Aid Basics.
