The Task

As an agent of the Food and Drug Administration, you have three separate, but important tasks.

Task 1:    You need to create a flow-chart revealing the compounds in an everyday products and the elements that make up those compounds.  (See below for an example of the flow-chart)

Task 2:    You need to research a precious gemstone and complete a report called the "Mineral Minute" in which you describe different physical properties of the gemstone.               

Task 3:   You will create an advertisement, describing either the product or the gemstone you investigated.  So as not to violate truth-in-advertising laws, you will be required to state what exactly is inside of the products we use and the gemstones we wear.  Therefore, you will have to reveal the names of the compounds and elements that present in your selected item, and you have to dazzle us with your creativity and research.
