Conclusion

Hopefully, by the conclusion of your WebQuest, you have discovered what is exactly inside your lotion, shampoo, juice, or even birthstone.  Learning about elements, compounds, and mixtures can be difficult because we are unable to see much of what we are discussing.  Through this activity, your science teachers hope that you gained a clearer understanding of the relationship between elements, compounds, and mixtures.  Elements join to form compounds, and compounds are combined together to make up mixtures.  Now you should know what elements are inside of your lotion!
