Manager at Talley Metals (Carpenter Technology Company), a third party
logistics provider. Directly
responsible for aspects of Carrier Management - dedicated Ryder
tractors/trailers, and contract carriers.
Manage all the day-to-day operations for transportation, shipping,
and receiving. Coordinate all
inbound and outbound freight via Ryder managed trucks and contract
carriers. Coordinate all dedicated truckloads of material such as steel
billets, wire rod, coils, rebar, and support supplies for the Talley Mill.
Oversee
distribution center operation personnel, loaders, shipping, and receiving.
Reduced the overtime man-hours – by changing loading and shipment
