| After all these years, we finally decided to tell you the "REDDNEK" story. Who we are, and how we came about. Back in 1998 to friends got together and decided to create a Online NASCAR team much different from any other. Those two friends where ZFishRman and REDDNEK, the founders of REDDNEK Racing. They started off just being a two man team, working together to win races. Then in 1999, StrokerAce came along (back then known as SlimJim). He just happened to be racing on a network called TEN, when ZFishRman decided "Hey, he looks like a good person to wreck". ZFishRman and StrokerAce then started a fued, racing atlanta over, and over, and over just to see who could win. As it happened, ZFishRman toasted Ace just about every race. From that moment on they became the best of friends. Now i'm not sure when exactly bomgod and Slolane came in the picture because i didnt meet them until a much later time. But they where also good friends with ZFishRman. Anyway in late 1999 StrokerAce and bomgod became the only two members to be allowed to join REDDNEK Racing. In early 2000 Slolane was entered as a "Honorary Member" of RnR. Since that time, REDDNEK's have won many races which you can find in our SCRAPBOOK. Stroker Gets First 2003 Victory7/20/2003 "I Won, but it was a non-points event." StrokerAce was happy and disappointed at the same time. Stroker rocked the field with a blistering qualifing run and pulled to a healty lead to win his first ever Nascar 2003 event in league play. However, it was a non-points event. Due to technical difficulties at the OLR stable, the SDS run a fun race at the new papy roadcourse. "I never stepped foot on that track until tonight, and boy do i love it" says an excited stroker,"But even though it was a non-points event, i am glad to know i havent rusted out, and still have the touch." Stroker will try and make a recovery win at the upcoming Pocono event where earlier this year he toke poll and had a duel with teammate bomgod up until he stripped 2 gears in the closing laps. Congrats to StrokerAce and REDDNEK Racing!" |
"Scooter" Now New Member Of RNR 7/1/2003 Before the kid go's balistic on us, REDDNEK Racing would like to announce the newest member of the team, " Scooter " aka JGF. After many years of racing, this young kid has shown a little bit of talent that could be good for RNR. We will waive the incident at taladega, but not forget, or let him forget for that matter, and add him to the RNR roster. JGF has a few years experiance with RNR drivers. "He's young, slightly talented, and amazingly crazy. Just like we where when we started out.", comments ZFishRman, " But i refuse to let him down on the taladega incident 4 years ago." Strokers comment was much less" Scooter? REDDNEK? Geez what is the world coming to?" boms reply, " JGF who?" That pretty much sums it up. Gotcha Scooter......LMAO...Welcome to REDDNEK Racing!!! |
bomgod Wins Again!! 6/8/2003 bomgod does it again, and REDDNEK Racing 2-0 on the season! StrokerAce toke the pole with a blistering 169.2. Early cautions kept the field together for a while then the race was on. Stroker the lead under a caution and lead for a few laps while teammate bomgod followed in tow. Somewhere along the line, ZFishRman who was making his return, stop by the liqour store and never returned. The two swapped postions a couple times and had some real clean racing. Green flag pit stops where the next thing in line. Bom pitted first, then next lap Ace. As stroker came out the pits, he lost 2nd AND 4th gear. "They just stripped!!" screamed ace,"Them dang gone RT's been messing in the RNR garage latley, and i know they are responsable for this. But what gos around comes aroound." bom then had the race in hand and won by 4.4 seconds, for his 26th SDS win. Congrats again bom and REDDNEK Racing. |

Stewart Gets First Win Of Season 6/8/2003 LONG POND, Pa. (AP) -- Tony Stewart was dominant for the third week in a row Sunday, but this time his effort and fast work by his crew carried him to Victory Circle at Pocono Raceway.
Stewart was in control in each of his last two races. But he had an engine problem two weeks ago at Lowe's Motor Speedway, then lost at Dover International Speedway after NASCAR imposed a one-lap penalty for stopping slightly out of his stall on pit road.
But the Winston Cup champion got his first victory of the season Sunday in the Pocono 500. It ended the longest drought in his career at 27.
