1 strawberry gelatin, four-serving size
1 8 oz tub whipped topping
3/4 cup boiling water
1 pie crust
Ice for strawberry gelatin
1/4 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and ice and stir until ice is dissolved. Add whipped topping and stir until blended. Refrigerate for approximately 20 minutes. Pour into pie crust, add sliced strawberries, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Strawberry Fudge BallsIngredients:
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 6 oz. package semisweet chocolate morsels, melted
3/4 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 cup strawberry preserves
1/2 cup almonds, toasted and finely chopped
Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add melted chocolate, beating until smooth. Stir in vanilla wafer crumbs and preserves; cover and chill 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in chopped almonds, and chill. Yield: 4 dozen.
