Lonely is a heartache,
Only love can heal.
Really hard to explain,
Is the sadness real.
Sorrow and despair,
Can fill ones heart.
Our old memories linger,
Not knowing how to make a new start.
Could I go back to yesterday,
And find happier times.
Maybe for another reason,
Looking for peace of mind.
Empty memories becomes a way of life,
Where misery plays all parts.
Loneliness is a darkness,
That shatters the heart.
