In my imagination,
There nothing I can't do.
Stand on the highest hill,
Hit a home run too.
Swim the English channel,
Or fly to the moon.
But in reality,
There nothing I can do.
Standing here before you,
In this game of life.
Shadows overwhelm me,
I can't see the light.
Now the rivers of reality,
Keep flooding my mind.
Over you I cannot get,
No matter how hard I try.
Standing on the sidelines,
Nothing I can do.
Mountains rise before me,
I can't get through.
I would swim the ragging river,
To give my love to you.
But in reality,
Dreams never come true.
