Able to understand, and interpret contract documents
(lien waivers, formal contracts, owners and architects agreements, subcontract
documents, etc.).
Able to interpret building, plumbing, mechanical, and
electrical codes (BOCA, International Code families, and New York State
Uniform Building and Fire Prevention codes.).
Able to perform site inspections and determine whether
work completed is per the plans and contract documents. Able to determine the
value of work complete.
Able to identify work improperly installed. Able to identify
scheduling conflicts. Able to identify if funds are sufficient to complete a
given project.
Able to generate construction cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and square foot analysis.
Able to interpret asbestos, lead, geotechnical, structural,
and concrete testing reports.
Able to perform many functions in Microsoft Excel including
linear programming and regression modeling.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, FrontPage, Excel,
Lotus, and SPSS.
