Mission Statement
Reach, Teach, and Keep Boys for Christ

What is Royal Rangers?
Royal Rangers is a national program to meet the physical, spiritual, mental and social needs of boys and young men ages five through seventeen. The ultimate goal is to help boys recognize and assume their place of leadership as responsible followers of Jesus Christ. Our motto is to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ. We recognize that the boys we reach today will be the leaders of tomorrow!

The ministry reaches across the United States and in over 63 nations around the world. It motivates boys spiritually through Bible study and memorization, devotionals, and Christian role models. The boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program. Further the boys increase their physical prowess by participation in age-specific activities and recreation. Finally, they are introduced to church, community, and nature-related activities to develop their social skills and awareness.

Dedicated leaders, called commanders, provide boys the necessary direction during a weekly outpost meeting. The meetings are designed to develop the total boy for Christ and offer love and understanding between the boy and a godly role model.

New Rangers Program Development

In keeping with our mission to "Reach, Teach, and Keep Boys for Christ," the Royal Rangers national leadership is in the process of revamping curriculum and teaching aspects of the ministry to broaden its appeal, while maintaining the integrity of the program that have made it a success.

One of the considerable tasks being undertaken is an effort to make the program and the advancement structure easier to understand—both for the boys and the commanders. Curriculum that is user-friendly will enable the boys to learn the concepts much easier and allow the commanders to provide personal input and direction into the lives of the boys.
