PHILEMON

TRUTH that Philemon teaches

ACTION that Philemon invites

1. Instructions for growing in piety
Speaking of Jesus to others gives us a deeper vision of our inheritance in Christ. The pious person is always ready to reestablish relationships that have been damaged. Sharing your home, food and other possessions with people you don't know is a greater blessing for you, who offer hospitality, than for those who receive it.
verse 6
Understand that by speaking of your faith in Jesus, you gain a more profound understanding of your inheritance in Christ.

verses 8-16
Practice forgiving instantly those who have offended you. Pave the way for reestablishing relationships that have been broken.

verse 22
Practice hospitality. Offer accommodation to GOD's servants who are traveling.
