1. Instructions for growing in piety
The pious person desires physical health, emotional stability and that prosperity reaches the lives of others. The people blessed in this way try to welcome and help those who serve GOD. verse 2
Prosper your soul. Understand that health and prosperity have something to do with the spirit.

Don't forget that GOD rejoices that his children put his Word into practice.

Show readiness and trust by offering hospitality to those who labor in the Gospel. Recognize that this is the way GOD wishes us to treat his servants.
verses 9-11
Beware of those who seek preeminence in the church. Reject malicious murmuring. Reprove those who oppose a righteous ministry because of envy and jealousy.
