Classroom Rules

1. Do not interfere with the educational process.
2. Be in your seat when the tardy bell rings with your books, assignments, pencils, and paper and remain there until dismissed by the teacher.
3. No food, drink, or gum will be allowed in the classroom.
4. Respect the property and the rights of others.
5. No personal items, such as tape players, radios, book boxes, or walkmans allowed in the school building.

Consequences

First Offense:            verbal warning

Second Offense:      lunch detention

Third Offense:           Second lunch detention and parent phone call

Fourth Offense:        After School detention, letter, and parent phone call

Fifth Offense:            Saturday school, letter, and parent phone call

Sixth Offense:            team counseling or IEP meeting, parent contact or conference, guidance referral

Seventh Offense:       Office Referral (ACP or Suspension)

Tardy Consequences

Grades 6 and 8

First Tardy:                warning

Second Tardy:           warning

Third Tardy:                lunch detention

Fourth Tardy:              After school detention

Fifth Tardy:                  Saturday school, letter, phone call

Sixth Tardy:                 office referral
