Gnuplot: It's a very useful command-driven interactive function and data plotting program.
GNU Scientific Library (GSL): GSL is a collection of C routines for numerical computing.
Latex: Is a macro package which enables authors to typeset and print their work at a highest typographical quality, using a predefined professional layout. Very useful to write papers and mathematical texts, including presentations.
ABNT Class: It's an ABNT Class for Latex. Very useful when you need to write papers using the ABNT brazilian norms.
Lyx: Graphical front-end for Latex.
Octave: It's a high level interactive language for numerical computations, very similar to MATLAB.
R: It's an integrated suite of software facilities for data manipulation, calculation and graphical display. Very useful as a statistical package.
TISEAN: It's a software package for nonlinear time series analysis based on the paradigm of deterministic chaos.
GGobi: It's a data visualization system with interactive and dynamic methods for the manipulation of views of data.
